Following on from what Craig revealed yesterday regarding being physically attacked by Jan's husband after she got the boot on Saturday. I wonder what Jan has to say about it!

'She was desperate to win the competition', excuse me, never in a million years was Jan going to get near winning, or is that Sun Speak for she thought she deserved to be in next week.

Raven mad? Well, he married her, didn't he?
I think they deserve each other. What a horrid pair! Ironic that the only comedian in the show is the one with the least sense of humour.

I was a bit stunned by that remark! There just wasn't anyway she was going to win, was there?

ITT promises to be very interesting tonight

Jan is coming out of this extremely badly, it's a flipping charity dance contest love, not the Oscars, I'm really pleased when they take it seriously, but honestly, at the end of the day her reaction is way over the top

It was obvious to me from watching her training during the week on ITT that she really didn't want to go on Saturday.

I think this was the Sun taking liberties rather than something Jan thought.

I agree that her reaction on Saturday was dreadful (especially in front of her kids ~ learn how to be a sore loser from mummy!) but I've actually started to feel quite sorry for her, cos the humiliation from this must be dreadful ~ you know that sick feeling when you've done something stupid and cringe everytime you think about it. Except non of us did it on prime time BBC tv!

Roll on ITT. If she shows her face......

Totally agreed. I'm a little shocked at Jan's behaviour. It shows abit of a nasty egotistical streak I didn't originally think she had.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Sun article is correct about her husband (and why would CRH lie?) given Jan's actions and the fact her family booed when her and Anton were announced as leaving.

Anyhow I hope Jan on ITT redeems herself as it's not at all in the spirit of SCD. She should be thankful she lasted 2 weeks longer than Spoony and remember it's all for charity!

I'm sure she'll be on ITT to try and make light of her gross overreaction and save face! This is when her comedic side would become useful and come into play, I hope for her sake

I think Jan is only guilty of throwing herself completely into the show - just like we the viewers do and we're not even on it!
The voting WAS unfair to her on Sat night - if it was her best performance Craig should have given her more points that he did the week before - that's obvious!
Brendan and Claire's "dance" was awful, and Jan was easily as good at Matt, Peter and I think Carol - I like Carol but can't see what the fuss about her dance was about - she was wooden - but did look gorgeous.
If I was in Jan's shoes I'd have been gutted too. As the last two pairs waited at the end it was clear to me that it mattered far more to Jan to stay in that to Claire - she looked like she couldn't care less!
So what if she showed her emotions - I don't blame her and at least she has a husband who backs her up!

It's understandable she was gutted and disappointed to leave the show. They all get emotional and that's great they care so much. But its always good to bow out gracefully and with dignity - if tearfully - rather than with personal attacks.

I too am looking forward to ITT tonight, should be interesting.

I can understand Jan being disappointed on leaving, but i am not sure who she thought she deserved to stay over? I always got the impression she thought she was better than she actually was.

I thought she behaved like a child, and it really was a cringey moment, especially as it is for Children in Need. She should be feeing very embarassed today.

I suspect this is more the Sun than Jan - surely she couldn't have been deluded enough to think she had a chance of winning? At any rate her whole behaviour was particularly bad coming from someone who makes her living making fun of others. I feel particularly sorry for Anton because I thought he looked gutted when the announcement was made - and he DID deserve to go further.

Blimey - sounds like everyone's taking it a little bit too seriously! I have to say I warmed to Matt a bit at the weekend. I thought his comment about Arlene igniting her own fire was very funny.

well they do say that comedians are the most insecure people and it seems as if this may be true. I'm shocked at Jan's reaction and everytime I read about it, my respect for Georgina and Spoony grows.

Am I bad person for wishing that Anton hadn't stepped in with Matt and James, meaning that James could have received a bit of payback! Of course violence is never the answer....but he's just so horrible!!!

It seems they are all kicking off !

'JAN HUBBY PUSHED ME IN CHEST'

STARS RAGE ON HIT TV SHOWS

THE husband of Strictly Come Dancing star Jan Ravens allegedly shoved and pushed judge Craig Revel Horwood after she was booted off the BBC1 show.

The Dead Ringers star burst into tears when she was sent home - and her furious husband Max lunged at Revel Horwood, who later likened it to "a physical assault".

Jan, 48, and dance partner Anton Du Beke, failed to impress the judges, who said the couple had "struggled to keep body contact".

But when the cameras stopped rolling, Jan and Max couldn't contain their anger.

Revel Horwood said: "She was upset, so I went over to tell her how well she had done over the weeks and thank her for doing it for Children in Need.

"But she didn't want to know and turned on me, then stormed off, so I went to try and calm things down.

"That's when her partner stepped in and started telling me to back away, he was pushing me in the chest. It was like a physical assault."

One eyewitness said: "It was obvious Jan was upset and some of the things Craig had said had clearly got to her.

"But he was obviously trying to smooth things out when her husband stepped in and made it clear he should leave her alone."

Meanwhile, rugby star Matt Dawson, 34, and axed dancer James Jordan nearly came to blows during rehearsals on Saturday.

They clashed after Dawson told BBC 2 spin-off show It Takes Two that he wasn't impressed with the way Jordan treated his ousted partner, Casualty's Georgina Bouzova, 30.

A BBC source said: "They had a massive row and almost came to blows.

"James was furious about what Matt had said and confronted him about it and they started shouting at each other. Anton had to step in separate them."

Gosh……Poor Anton!

Of course both stories are likely to be exaggerations but it is interesting how seriously everyone is approaching SCD this year.
