Dvd Recorder

I am considering buying a DVD recorder, can anyone please give me some advise as to what model of recorder I should buy and what price I should expect to pay.

I am looking for something with a 160GB hard drive or similar.

Also can you record Sky tv on these recorders or are they only useful for films.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks JK.

A Pioneer or Panasonic HDD recorder would do you for any recordings.
Unlike a PVR,the HDD on these is editable .
Alongside Sky+ or a Freeview PVR its the easy way to create perfect dvd's
