Getting a new phone.. what should I get?
SlashNX

Finally, im going to buy a new phone, ive been very good so far and stuck with my Nokia 3310 or 3510 which ever it is, till the end! I havent given into temptation like all my friends and rushed out to buy a camera phone as soon as they came out! Which im glad about, because now the first ones seem sooo out dated with fussy pixilated pictures!

Anyway my phone is now braking and im in the position to buy myself a fancy new phone which will hopefully last me for years to come!

Im pretty excited and I wanna treat myself and get a fancy one with all the mod-cons!

Good camera, video recorder/playback, bluetooth, mp3 player, and the possibilty to have msn on it!!!

Price isnt too much of an issue but one £150 or under would be ideal!

I want a pay as you go one too, for O2 network!!

Any suggestions?

3 are like marmite, you love them or hate them.

I love them (ok maybe not love but think they are good). Cheap price plans with loads of bundled minutes and texts, FREE calls to customer services, FREE msn messenger for life, no extra charges for itemised billing, I personally have never had a problem with signal (although i'm sure all networks have problems in some places). I actually get 3G signal on top of mount snowden!!!

The OP wanted a good camera on the phone, the K750i is only a 2mp camera there are much better camera phones out there now.

Good luck with your search for a new phone but before you make your finale decision, please may I draw your attention to my thread titled "Speed Dials Hijacked". It has everything else on it that you're looking for

If you want a good camera, then why not go for the Sony Ericsson K800i?

only 2mp? It's a decent camera with auto-focus.

If you want a camera, then buy a bloody camera.

But...

If you play the game, you can get their service for next to nothing. I'll be paying them precisely £0 this year for 200 mins and 100 texts per month, which is all I really need.

I'd say D600, its a great phone and simple to use. It has a decent camera (2mp), video, mp3 player, etc..

If you'd like to stick with nokia i think the nokia n70 is quite a nice phone, it has two decent cameras (2mp)

I've never had a k800i but one of my friends has it and said the camera is amazing.

Good for you. I too had a Nokia fetish. My first phones in order went:

(1998) Nokia 5110
(1999) Nokia 3210
(2001) Nokia 3310
(2003) Nokia 3410
(2003) Nokia 3510
(2004) Nokia 3510i

Then the Nokia series (I liked) went a bit pear shaped, so I bought myself...

(2004) Nokia N-Gage

That went wrong, so I bought a

(2004) Nokia 6600

I had that for years and loved it... until the other day when I saw something so incredible, no words could express it. My love for Nokia has have gone downhill since they've given up the classy but basic designs (with every feature). I now have the:

(2007) Samsung D600 (Chrome)

I would strongly recommend it.

Well I am not from the UK, but I recently purchased the T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl and I am obsessed with it. It's such a great phone and I have very good service. The features are awesome, camera is 1.3 megapixel.. and i'm happy with it so far.

In the past, i have had nokia's and i love them! But Samsung is my favorite now and has been for the last 2-3 years.
