the singers are amazing and sing very well
everyone seems to be acknowledged but not them

will say the dresses are so beautiful, but why do we need to see so much chest, and stop putting matt d in the wrong colour!

and lets keep the sarky comments out and concentrate on the dancing and why this is happening, not the celebs ego's but children in need!!!!!

The two guys who do it Tommy Blaize and Lance Ellington have such rich voices. Listen to their duet on Me and My Shadow (Colins Smooth) it's too good!!
Not sure who sang Love Potion number 9 last year but that sounded perfect and the arrangement was perfect IMO.

The singers do a great job.

They are good. But it doesn't matter whether you think their good-or-not they really should be acknowleged. Come on Bruce that's your job.

(On the US the host always acknowledges the singers and band before the judges comment on the first dancer.)

It's scandalous.

Bruce used to introduce the conductor, the band and the singers at the beginning of every show. The cameras also used to show glimpses of the singers when they were actually singing, when it didn't interfere with the dancing. Then sometime during the last series, the introductions stopped and have never happened since. Perhaps something to do with time available, or wanting the emphasis to be on the dancers.

It really annoys me. The dancers talk about what music "tracks" they have chosen for each dance but this is a live show, for heaven's sake. They are rehearsing to tracks, but the live show features music played and sung by live musicians and live singers. I hope they are getting paid enough to compensate for the lack of acknowledgment.

Are they named in the credits at all? I confess I haven't thought of looking there.

Wasn't Lance Ellington one half of the cheesy duo Koffee 'n' Kreme?

They get acknowledged to the studio audience before the show, but you're right, they should be acknowledged to the home viewers as well.
