Just saw an advert for the new crossroads

I was just watching something on ITV and I saw an advert for the new crossroads. I wasn't surprised that they even mentioned dynasty in the clip "A new dynasty begins" or something like that so we're away from birmingham or wherever it's supposed to be straight to dallas or dynasty. i was a fan of crossroads when it came back the year before last, but reading more and more of the things that it's going to be like, but reading media guardian yvonne grace says things like noone will ever say anything about "birmingham" as its supposed to be in a fantasy world. I want it to do well, but it sounds like it may go over the top into melodramatic. Sunset beach did this and subsequently was axed.
Back to what I said in another post, I hope crossroads does well this time round and I hope it has some reality in it.

I think they probably mean a new dynasty as in a new family. Dynasty isn't a place. Well, it might be I guess, but I'm sure that's not what they meant!

I was quite addicted to it before it left our screens last year. Still would not want to admit this in public, so the anonimity offered by DS is perfect! It was strangely compulsive for lots of reasons, dreadful acting being the main one, and several of the actor's facial expressions another.
Not sure how this new re-incarnation will work out. One thing for sure, the faces expressions will act themselves of the screen.

I can't wait to see Jane Asher in a thong. It should be funny.

That is one of the opening episodes highlights!
