If they are doing the Samba then what is everyone else doing ?

I think Peter and Erin are also doing the samba.

The word on the street says Ray is too, and that Mark is doing the Smooooth.

Don't think we've had a definitive list yet though?

I woulda thought people who did salsa would do the smooth, and then vice versa.

me too, hence my confusion.... I only know that Mark and Karen are doing the smooth and now louisa and vincent are doing samba, don't know about anyone else

ummmm interesting I am sure Peter and Erin would sell their souls to Satan NOT to be doing the Samba

Most of the couples have had a straight swap from latin to ballroom and vice versa. However due to numbers that would have meant 5 American Smooths and only 3 Sambas so one American Smooth couple had to move over to Latin. That couple is obviously Louisa and Vincent.

Therefore:

Samba - Ray and Camilla, Emma and Darren, Peter and Erin, Louisa and Vincent

American Smooth - Carol and Matt, Mark and Karen, Claire and brendan, Matt and Lilia.

This brings up my old question of who decides who dances what.
I still think they should all do the same dance.

I do too, but I think the powers that be assume that the audience would get bored if this were the case

I'm not sure we would find it boring, personally i'd find it more interesting as to see what each profesional came up with music and choro wise

Yeah, Peter & Erin are definatly doing the Samba.

They will be poor at it, and might face eviction.

I think/assume/guess it has slightly to do with what couples have danced before, ie Mark's "repertoire" is heavily Latin at the moment so it'd be insane to make them swap, whereas Louisa's is more balanced because she's done 2 of each? Just to pick a random couple of people who I actually remember what they've danced lol

As I've mentioned elsewhere, anyone else get the impression from what he said, that the choice of music last Saturday for Vincent and Louisa wasn't entirely their own?

If Peter and Erin are doing the samba this week then i think they will be out peter is ok when he is doing a slow dance but doing the samba he will look like herman musters love child gone nuts

I think they will get slated by the judges, get rotten scores and be saved by the public. There's a lot of affection for Peter's hard work and lovely personality.

Perhaps not..... look at the routine she choreographed for Julian Clary..... they had a brilliant time and although not technically very good, it was still great entertainment.

Didn't get the impression that he hadn't chosen it - thought he was implying it wasn't the best piece of music he could have picked? I'm not totally convinced about Louisa. I kinda think she'd be dancing much better had she joined the show 4 years from now. She seems very insecure (not surprising for a teenager) and a tad embarrassed doing the sexy schtick.

Peter doing the samba will be interesting. I hope it will have a lot personality to it 'cause technically it's gonna be a disaster. I just hope Erin makes it funny and entertaining!

I have a feeling Peter S has lots of hidden support that would never be near this forum. Lots of drunk lads down the pup on Sat night no evening kick off match on and X factor not started. So its SCD that takes up the screens in the background

To be fair, she managed that really well with Julian so who knows what she'll pull out of the bag?

He does seem to have a lot of people who quite like him, and I am guessing maybe a good bunch of footie support: so maybe he will live to fight another day!

I love Peter and Erin and definitely don't want them to go out this weekend, if they do get bad scores I hope the public save them, there is something very endearing about him.
