Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum so please be gentle with me.

My family and I lOVE Strictly and ITT and watch avidly every day. What we are all wondering though is what Claudia does throughout the rest of the year, we only ever see her on this. I thought I had seen her before on the Holiday programme, but I wasn't sure.

Don't get me wrong, I think she does a great job and we all love the right amount of "Tongue in cheek" she brings to the show. She has a great sense of humour and I think she would make a great contestant herself.

This is not a critisiscm.

Hi welcome aboard!,

I have seen her on the holiday show too - I know she has just had a baby so reckon she hasn't done a awful lot else this year.

I certainly think she should be on more shows or even better Radio she is ramdon enough to fit right in!

Isn't she also on 'The House of the Tiny tearaways'?

Hi and welcome calmac2006. Can't answer your question but I thought it was a lovely post asking a question that I can't remember ever seeing before.

I'm not surprised that you added a confused smiley but most of us are happy to ask and answer questions without taking offence. We're even up for a bit of positive criticism of our favourites!

Well, I don't know what else she does at the moment, but she used to do a fabulous celebrity programme on News 24-anyone remember what it was called? Was it Celebdaq? It WAS fabulous.

BTW calmac2006, Claudia's mum is Eve Pollard.

Think she might be her step-mum actually.

Thank you all very much.

I thought she had a famous parent, I just couldn't remember who. I must admit that I thought it was something to do with her father.

I haven't seen any of the other programmes you all mentioned, but I also agree with the comment about the radio.

I would also like to point out that I have followed all 4 series, and so far, I think this is the best. I am still completely hooked.

No Eve Pollard (Lady Lloyd as she is now) is Claudia's mother, can't you see the resemblance. Pollard was her maiden name, Claudia's father is Mr Winkleman. Claudia is married to Chris Thikier who works with Matthew Freud in P.R. I may not be 100% up to date but i know the Pollard family from way back. i was friendly with Eve's twin brothers.

Hi Welcome!

You can see some of the other shows Claudia has been on here:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0935183/

It's not a complete list as it doesn't include a programme she did about 3 years ago. Does anyone remember it's name? It was on BBC2 about teatime and involved 3 people living together (either 1 man and 2 women or visa versa) and choosing dates.

Anyway Claudia presented and narrated the show. It was the first time I had heard of her and I became a fan of hers straight away. She was just so wacky and funny and completely made the show.

I think if she ever stopped doing ITT the whole SCD experience would lose something. But the BBC should make more use of her - would love to see her on other stuff as well as ITT.

I seem to remember her doing a late night program years ago with Katie Pucrick, think it was called the Pyjama Party, was out at about the same time as the Girlie Show but that wasn't on the IMDb list either! Used to love that show, it had a really weird cartoon on it as well about a little boy with a magic ball(!) who had Mr Benn-style adventures!!

Is this is?

Puckrik exec produced the show, as well as hosting.

Hmmm, the user comment sounds like the same programme but the other stuff sounds different and I could have sworn it was on earlier than 2000, maybe there was an American version as well! Thanks though, might try and google it now!

Edit: Yay, I just found something, it was on in 1996, Katie Puckrik, Claudia and someone called Michelle Kelly presented it!! It really was v.good, much better than the Girlie Show.

Remember when she used to be in that channel 5 kareoke programme that Suggs presented?

Davina McCall was always in it too... I can't remember what it was called!

I love Claudia, she really makes me laugh. But, did anyone else think her makeup looked a bit strange tonight, I was finding difficult to concentrate on what she was saying.

Was it called Night Fever? I used to love that! Don't remember Claudia being on it though, thought it was Sarah Cawood?

Definately I was trying to listen as she is very entertaining and all I could think was how red!!

Was that really an intended disparaging remark she made about her husband?

We've been saying for years that she should wear red lipstick. And when she does, it's such a shock. She looks totally different. Still fabulous, though.
