I wouldn't take it as a general "the sound is bad in the middle" statement. We've been to a LOT of concerts there and been on the floor or right at the back (pretty much where you were) and the sound has been absolutely fine with the exception of the Eddie Izzard show. Ultimately it depends on the type of show, the positioning of the speakers etc. Maybe the sound was somehow a problem for you last night but I had friends there who were elsewhere in the arena and they all thought the sound was fantastic, so don't treat it as a general rule - from what I could see when I looked to my left towards where you were sitting everybody looked to be jumping around and dancing apart from a very small group of people about half way up block 109/110, so I don't know exactly what was wrong with your seat.
