I am looking for a PVR/DVD and saw the thomson dth7000e, as this is my first pvr are these machines any good and what's the bad points generally i have look around on the net they say good to excellent.

i have a limited budget and was offered one for around £70.

Also it has a 40gig hard drive can this be upgraded??
