I have just activated the GPRS service on my t68i after a 20 minute call to customer services.
Switched the phone off, then back on again and hey presto it works!

My question is about charges, it will be costing me 2pence per KB, so in relation to wap pages, how many wap pages to a KB, or should that be how many KB for a wap page, I just don't know and its confusing the hell out of me

You cannot say. Depends how big the page is. Do you not have a GPRS Counter in it? I am sure it must have call logs. My advise is do not use GPRS yes, at 2p kilobyte its a rip off, to download 60KB is 2400% more expencive than using Dial up at 9.6K!!!!!! I have already got in contact with Oftel regarding these "rip offs", and only had one reply so far saying they are still looking into it.

I'm not sure about actual WAP pages but I do know that most background pages for the T68i are about 3kb in size. This is something to do with 3kb being the max file size on some WAP gateways.

There is a very excellent site which I am not sure if I am allowed to post here dedicated to the t68. E-mail me and I'll send you the URL.
