Yes and No!

I archived off about 4 hours of recordings a few weeks ago on to DVD+R kicking off at 1AM. Whilst it continued archiving recordings over the 3AM slot, a good chunk of the DVD was ruined with a prompt on screen informing me that the 3AM download couldn't start because the box was in use! Also (obviously) the EPG download didn't take place.

I suspect that if I had the DVD recorder plugged in to the other scart then all would have been well. However without the ability to trim adverts and the 1->1 time taken to archive the USB Mod works *much* better for me.

Should be okay then. The EPG download prompt will come on screen but AFAIK the prompts/messages don't get passed out of the VCR scart, so the archive will continue uninterupted, and the resultant recording should be unblemished!

is there anyway to Add multiple items to be archived with a GAP in between each item?

Simply becuase i want to have enough time to stop recording on the dvd recorder and start again so it sees it as 2 recordings rather than 1 continuious one...
