WALL BRACKET / MOUNT NEEDED FOR SONY 42" LCD
Hi there,
I am looking for a universal wall mount for my Sony 42" TV. I have been advised by a friend to go to www.imount.co.uk as they offer a 10 year guarantee and free 24-hour delivery. I have had a quick search on the forums, but I am not sure whether to go for a "double-arm" version. I have a solid brick wall, but am worried that my pride and joy might fall off. Thanks in advance. wall bracket
Friend of mine has just installed his 42" Philips. Because of the size of the alcove he needed a double arm bracket to get the maximum distance from the wall.
The bracket he used stated it would carry 60kilos. The set was lower than this. When pushed back against the wall the horizontal level is slightly "out of true"-slight annoying incline to the right. When extended and pulled out it is level. He has not been able to get the set level under both conditions. I fitted a Vogel bracket to my set-perfect. |
