Samsung LE32R74BDX/XEU -Confused!
Hi all, I am considering buying one of these from Amazon £650 inc p&p. I have seen similar models in the shops but the model numbers are confusing and not clear.
Whats the difference between the BD, BDX and what does XEU mean? I have only seen them on an HD link not SD, My signal is weak but ok, (cheap digibox, no good terrestrial) I am worried about smearing on movement, and have read that these tvs 'highlight' weak signals. I have not been impressed by the Bravias I have seen, but have heard good things about the Sharp LC-32 GD 8 E but dont like the looks much, but if its a better buy... I am going to buy a DVD recorder, probably hdd with digi tuner, - looking at the Tosh, and Panasonic, but will see what Richer Sounds have on offer. I am trying to keep costs down, but can vary. Will this make a difference to picture quality? I just watch TV, and the odd DVD, not a gamer or anything, but would like to plug my PC into the new screen. Any advice anyone, where is the best review site? Many thanks, Grae. |

D = Digital Terrestrial Tuner X/XEU = Correct model for UK (Europe) ie s/w, power cord (Note the model number is not X or XEU but X/XEU) Some suppliers don't display the full model number in their ads but as long as they are a reputable UK company then there shouldn't be a issue. |

Cheers! It's simple when you know how! Shame they don't make it clear.
Having read the threads I am inching towards the Sharp. But I still like the looks of the Sammy. Grae. |
