Height of the 9200T

Finally thinking of buying one, reservations about bugs and other tech gremlins aside. However, I only have limited storage space to play with (short of ditching the DVD recorder - which is a possibility).

Can anyone tell me exactly how high the unit is? Seen conflicting measurements on various websites, anything between 6cm and 7.8cm. Having seen one briefly in the flesh, I noticed it has four feet on the bottom of the unit - I didn't really inspect these, but would I be right in thinking these might screw off, or otherwise be removed? That might give me a bit more to play with.

thanks

Just measured mine and it is 7.8. The feet are moulded metal with rubber stoppers - the metal cant be moved as its moulded into the box, but the rubber feet SHOULD be removable - having said that, it is only going to give you an extra 0.2 cm

I thought there was a requirement for some space to be left above the unit, but looking in the user's manual I can't see it.

Before taking feet off you should check if there are any vents underneath the box that will get restricted.

It wouldn't have fit where I wanted it anyway, even with the rubber stoppers removed. So it's above the telly, but looks rather good actually. It's a fine looking piece of kit.
