Nikitta was CRAP tonight!!

And it wasn't because she can't sing!!! Last Dance was probabyl the WORST song to have given her.

Nikitta's audition was a million times better than any song she has sung on the live shows!

If she had been given an EVa Cassidy song she would have been up there with Leona and Robert tonight!!!

I can only assume she is being supressed on purpose!!!

I'm not quite sure why Simon finds it so difficult to understand that Nikitta is obviously better off singing slow numbers.

Don't matter, she just hasn't got it.

Totally agree with you. there are millions of 'love songs' and she gets that to sing. I have text voted for the very first time on a reality show tonight and also voted for her on the land line. I so hope she doesn't end up in the bottom two. The only thing I think that can save her tonight is if she is in the bottom two with the Macdonald Bros.

I agree. Nikitta is in danger of going tonight as she has been consistently poor. But it is the songs.

This week was a good chance to give her a storming ballad - but no - it was once again a week vocal with some dodgy off key notes, repetitive dull 70s disco stuff.

Simon doesn't want two young girls both singing ballads, though ballads are the ideal choice for each girl. It seems he has considered Leona and Nikita, and decided (and rightly IMO) that Leona is better. As such, she gets the ballads, while Simon tries to build up Nikita as a "happy" young girl.

Ahh but see you'd totally change your mind if you heard her sing a song that suits her.

Bad (or deliberately bad) song choice, and an even worse dress.

I'm wondering if there is an agenda to the dresses she is being given to wear as well. Why oh why are they dressing her like that when it just doesn't suit her and just accentuates her worst points. She's got such a pretty face but those dresses look like they are styled for someone a foot smaller and a decade older than she is. It only makes her stand out against Leona's dress.

I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but I think you are right. That makes sense now.

I would have loved to hear her sing the Damian Rice song float like a cannon ball, or James Blunt's your beautiful.

It was a very bad dress. Leona's dress was just as revolting though.

If you're a good singer you should be able to hold a note no matter what song you sing. The type of song has nothing to do with the fact that she was just out of tune on many parts.

I feel like Simon's TOTALLY missed the point of Nikkita. To me, she reminds me of a very sort of underground r n b, garagey type act - not some sort of cheesy pop princess..
The dresses..the dancing..the songs. What's he doing to her? He should be giving her stuff like Estelle or Jamelia. She's in the bottom 2 now with Ray..so I think she's probably gone anyway : (
