Nextbase portable DVD - any reviews?
Hi there,
I'm considering buying a portable DVD player possibly a NEXTBASE model,to keep my daughter amused on long journeys in the car. Does anybody have one (particularly sdv97) and are they any good? I would like a slot loading style for ease of loading/removing dics (see below) but am willing to consider top loaders if other people have had no problems with them. I have already had a Goodmans twin screen unit (clamshell style main player and slave screen) but I took this back as it scratched the first 3 dics I put in it.(I think they were damaged on the sharp metal edges of the laser transport carriage). Hope someone can help. |

I've been using the SDV-37 for 18 months; great product, made long journeys much easier.
The SDV-37 has a side opening tray, which can be a bit fiddly, so its possible the later model you are looking at addresses this. I bought a complete kit ( SDV-37, car headrest mount, infrared adapter and headphones, carry bag..basically all the bits you need ) from cmctech, found them very helpful and really great prices www.cmctech.co.uk |
