Help - Previous Good LCD TV has lost its picture
I have had a 17inch DMTech TV for around 2 years with no extended warranty. It has been used in a bedroom as a PC monitor / TV and has had a lot of use in monitor mode.
Recently I have had problems in monitor mode as the screeh has gradually faded to white with no picture / graphics, but has been OK if switched to TV. I tried it today and the screen is now dead, no picture from any input source (usually if there is no input I get a no input detected screensaver), and I cant even get a menu up. I think I read years ago that these TVs use a lamp which can burn out over time Any advice - is it economically repairable. Nick |
