Has anyone heard what they are doing with the spare week they have due to Tarby's withdrawal?

I think a good idea would be to have one eviction spread over two weeks, with the marks and phone votes for both weeks combined.

I dont think even they know what they are going to do, Mike!

Perhaps they're waiting for us to come up with an idea.

There you go SCD, my idea is available to you (will only cost you two tickets to the final!!)

My idea is that there is no elimination CIN week as they are all so busy working for the charity. The phone votes will be carried forward to the next week - (Ok that's very like your idea but check back I declared this weeks ago )

Yes....I'm beginning to wonder if there's no elimination this week.

Have we had any clues?

I don't believe everything I read, but in Closer mag this week on their Saturday telly pick, they seem to think that the couples are choosing their own dances this week.

Probably making things up as I'm sure Tess said on Saturday that the ladies were dancing the Chacha...........

Absolutely none as far as I know, they're keeping this very close to their chests. Am quite impressed really, the BBC could give security lessons to the civil service, security forces and political parties. (Maybe they could use the revenue to pay for ............................

a) A grown-up cameraman for the live show
b) Whatever fees they have to pay to get better music
c) Brucie's retirement fund
e) The final at Blackpool

Keep adding ................

Maybe they won't do anything and just have two couples in the final week rather than three....

Or, as the American version is ending so close to our own, maybe keep their top three in training and have the last week as another UK v USA, but with a more level playing field this time as eveyone will still be in training.

(*Nicks Quizmike's idea* 2 tickets to the final if you take this one up please )

Or how about a world championship from all the Dancing with the Stars worldwide? (and I asked for the tickets first!!!)

That would be brilliant, I'd love to see that.

Or we could build a time machine, go back to the week that Tarby dropped out, have no eviction that week, and Spoony would still be in!!

(Guess thats not going to happen though )

Has anyone seen or heard any confirmation that there definitely will be an elimination tomorrow?

Hmm...

Does anyone normally read the "Strictly on Saturday" post on the BBC site? Here is today's:

Quote:
“This week our remaining contestants will dance one of the dances already featured in the series, but one they haven't danced. Who will lead their partners through to week eight and who will fall foul of the judges' comments and miss out on your votes? Tune in on Saturday at 6.05pm and 9.35pm on BBC One to find out.”

It doesn't exactly say that another couple will be leaving... I'm probably reading way too much into it!

Not quite conclusive is it?

I still have my suspicions.

If you read further down it does say your vote counts for 50% of the score so if you don't want your favourite to go.....

I hadn't noticed that! I do still hope they don't have an elimination this week though, it doesn't look like there will be any bad performances tomorrow.

i think they might not eliminate tomorrow night....did anyone notice claudia on ITT...at the end on fri she usually says something along the lines of 'join me on mon where i'll be joined on the sofa with the latest couple to be evicted'....she didn't say that tonight....just to join her on monday........intrigue!!!

i think they will carry on as normal because the week after tarby had to pull out x factor elimanated 2 couples so now the 2 shows are both on track and even
also dancing with the statrs in the usa has just finished this week.

it was the first thing i noticed after she said it....i'll be keeping my ears open for any hints of no elimination when tess and bruce talk about a couple being eliminated....because i dont think they'll openly say theres no elim until they have two left standing.....cruelly!

on the bbc press office website [sorry, dont know how to post links] in the forthcoming programmes for week 49 section they say that the final four coupes will battle it out for an place in next weeks semi final. That would mean their is goin to be only two couples in the final week.
