The Upper Room have split
"Jon was told via one of the technicians in our rehearsal rooms that Alex and Beau were rehearsing without us the day before yesterday, with a new drummer.
After very diplomatically ignoring our calls and texts for the last couple of weeks we have taken this to mean an official split. We don't think that they should carry on using the name "The Upper Room", as half the band has now left. " Found out via this MySpace bulletin. I'm really upset about this. I've just started listening to their album constantly again for the last week or two and I think it's brilliant. Such a shame there won't be anymore. Anyone else here like(d) them? |

I quite liked that single they had out earlier in the year (can't remember it's name) but I never actually bought into them.

They did have potential. I only found out that Test Icicles split up in April the other day but I can't say I really care. They were hyped as the next big thing though.
