ProjectX is not the most user friendly piece of software. As far as I remember you need to use the demux option on your .ts file. This will produce a video file (.m2v) and 2 audio files (.mp2). One audio file is the normal tv soundtrack, the other is a descriptive soundtrack, not much on it. You'll need to choose the normal tv soundtrack.

Once you have demuxed with ProjectX you will need to remux with another piece of software to produce an MPEG file. IFOEdit has been mentioned on these threads in the past. http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/Ifoedit0971.zip

Good Luck!

Just tried out ProjectX and IFOEdit as above. You end up with .Vob files. Seems to work ok. VideoRedo is much easier though.

Short guide to ProjectX here. H2D wiki is here for more guides/help with the Hummy's video files.

I had exactly the same after using Project X - but when I manually changed the m2p file extension to mpg the sound magically appeared.

Sometimes I find that the audio tracks are swapped over. As a workaround they can be swapped back using the audio button on the DVD remote control.

Bit of a nuisance though
