Recommend a Blackberry contract

Hi I'm wanting a Blackberry - so:

I don't talk much on the phone - this is far more for email access whilst on the road - a lot of the time - so I need an unlimited data add on / whatever.

A Carphone warehouse rep told me that the t-mobile web n' walk was a bit shaky but couldn't really give me more deatils other than that I should go with o2, but o2 seems much more expensive.

Can anyone help?

TIA

I get the impression that CPW like O2 here! Nothing wrong with web 'n' walk, although i don't use it myself I know people who do. There's diff levels of service, and the top one allows VoIP and use of messenger programs i believe.

Check out the website www.t-mobile.co.uk and have a look at what they do. Hope this helps.

I'd avoid CPW at all costs if i were you, plus you get a better deal going direct.

Tmobile Web n Walk is fine, and is the cheapest option.

Vodafone do a good option as well for about £35, check out www.vodafone.co.uk for the best deals.

http://businessshop.o2.co.uk/tariffs...spx?groupid=23 at £12.77+vat on a 12 month contract and £57.75 for a BlackBerry 8700 is the best I've seen - 75 MB data allowance.

That looks great but I can't find a way to add talk time to the package.

This doesn't include any data and you have to use vodaphone's email address so it's not suitable

The best price I've found is £32.50 per month for unlimited data, flext 20 and push email from t-mobile. Thanks all for your help

Yeah, it is poor value with voice too. Sorry to get your hopes up - I thought you were looking for email only. Nice as a Blackberry is, I'd still want to leave my email behind and just carry a phone so am not a fan of combined handsets.

flext 20 (15pounds per month) + blackberry (10 pounds) is a good option.

Unlimmitted blackberry + any combination of 300minutes and 600 texts is a good option.

You don't need unlimitted data per se just unlimmitted blackberry data.

Also there is the Nokia E61 from say 3.

I'm looking at that combination too. The release of the Pearl has finally made me "want" a Blackberry.

I'm just a little confused about the Web'N'Walk. If I have the voice package (Flext 20 or 25), plus the £10 pm for Blackberry email (50Mb email and 3Mb browsing), I don't think I really need the extra £7.50 W&W. On my current phone (k705i) I don't do much browsng - just for football scores, BBC headlines and the occasional google.

These prices are through theie website. Are there any cheaper places to go?

I got my Blackberry from the Fone house in Bluewater on t-mobile.
It is the best phone contract that I have ever had (and I have had a few)
I am on the Flext 20 + web 'n' walk and I pay £5 for the Blackberry (which is unlimited emails).
I think I am right in saying that it is better to go for the web and walk for the unlimited browsing and just pay £5 for the blackberry.client, the way I have just read your post it appears that you will have limited browsing 3mb if you rely on the blackberry to do your web browsing as well as emails.
I went for the 8700g Blackberry.

You are right to be confused. i thought the BB pearl was 2G and therefor didn't work with WnW

My 8700g is 2g and it works fine with web and walk

If you also download mini opera you can use that as your browser alongside the T-mobile one,
