After last year's first (Strictly Come) Dancing On Ice, ITV released a DVD of that show. After nearly four series of SCD, isn't it about time the BBC put out a DVD release? I would like to see some of the dances from previous series again in full (both the good and the bad!)

Absolutely...........i'd buy a disc from each series .......pro dances as well.

It would be fantastic. Maybe they will do one to coincide with next years series. There has to be a market for it.

I mean... I know I'm sad, but I would happily buy a dvd with all the training stuff, all the ITTs, and loads of extras, for each series. But highlights from each one would be a good start!!!

To own series 2 in its entiriety would be delightful -Ive already got all of Jill and Darrens and Lilia and Aleds training and dances but would love the rest..........

Has anyone tried contacting the bbc? lol, or perhaps even writing on the 'points of view' board?

I'd buy a dvd of SCD! l agree with Sarah, it would be great with professional dances and ITT aswell

Would absolutely buy it and know loads of people that would - especially if you include the wonderful Claudia and her ITT programme + training footage.

I want Series 2 on dvd. I have all Jill and Darrens dances but i'd love all the others.

I think there was a petition at one point. I would love a dvd would make my day but ho long have we wanted one for?? Maybe one day they will listen

Think people have emailed the BBC before but to no avail - I know I have, I never got a response - not sure about the others who tried!

Cannot think of a reason why they wouldn't - seems such a basic idea!

Yes we've tried it... and yes to POV... and heard nothing back. There have been several threads of campaigns and lots of us persistantly emailing BBC about it.... it's always worth another try though!

maybe they need to get permission from all the artists music they used?

actually, maybe not so much permission but negotiate a fee to every artist?

i'd love a dvd. brilliant idea! and i know a few of my dancing mad friends would as well!
