Ive had a Z7 for 6 months or so, never had any problems with it.
Good phone has jog dial to access menus and is easy to use. Has pollymorphic ring tones and you can record your own as well. Good sound & reception to. WAP and email are supposed to be great but I never use them. My only critisim would be unlike other phones I have owned when writing a text message you cant get a number by keeping hold of a button so you have to keep pressing to get the number you want.

Avoid it! I had nothing but problems with mine as it continually dropped calls, I couldn't have a ten minute conversation without it cutting me off. Also it's very buggy, and will crash at the slightest thing (though if this is just due to the version of the software in my phone i had i don't know)

It could've been a really good phone, the jog-dial is really good (as is the speed of the menus/text input) but the lack of a standard 'ring-ring' tone was a bit of a let down too. Also, originally the phone was with Vodafone, and all my numbers were saved to the phone. When i changed to Genie, the phone didn't like the new simcard, and every time i tried to add a new number it threatened to delete all the numbers stored in the memory.

I've since got a Sony Ericsson T300, and apart from the speed of typing texts, it's great!

Sentiments shared about the Sony Z7. My wife had one and it was appalling. At the time, she wished she had kept her trusty Nokia 3310

She now has the Samsung A300 and i have the Samsung T100.
Mine is a beauty !! . Then again, it did cost me £249.99. Scandalous but a nice phone.
