I am looking to buy a second DHD4000 as a Crimbo present.

Apart from Ebay, does anybody where I can purchase a new one from ?

Argos still appear to sell them and unless I'm mistaken it looks like they've reduced the price to £59.99 (quickly reserves another one).

1) Locate the 3 digit reference number of your nearest Argos store (back of catalogue).
2) Phone Argos' ring and reserve service - 0870 6001010
3) Enter catalogue number - 5320840
4) Enter store ID.
5) If you are lucky they will have it in stock and you can pick it up that day. If unlucky will get stock from a different store and you can pick it up in around 3 days.

YMMV - Rufus.

Just reserved on that was very local to me. SWMBO will probably not want one, so if anyone wants the reservation number, pm me. Store was Runcorn (argos store 168), so if you're nearby and want to get a DHD4000 let me know. The reservation runs out on Thursday close of business.

*edit* Just phoned again to see if they had more stock, and now they are showing no availability. So the one I've reserved is the last one there.

True true, but I thought in the spirit of this forum I might offer it to some poor soul who hasn't had the joy of owning a DHD4000. SWMBO though seemed reasonably open to getting the box, so I might yet buy it unless someone pleads a good case now!

Clearance Bargains may still have some. The Corby site had loads on 25th. October and there is 10% discount for pensioners - Monday and students - Thursday each week

Good idea to check out clearance bargains actually, because it's owned by argos and it's probably where they'll be sending all their unsold DHD4000s!
