DVD Recorder/Video Combi
I currently have two old Video machines that are coming towards the end of their life. I would like to update to a DVD recorder but not get rid of my VCR until I have transfered my videos to DVD.
I would eventually like a fairly high quality DVD recorder with hard disk for my main downstairs machine but that is not my question now. I will eventually want 2 DVD machines (one for upstairs and one for down) and I wondered about first getting a relatively cheap DVD recorder/video combi as one of my new DVD recorders for an easy way to transfer my vidieos onto DVD. I have wondered about the Panosonic DMREZ45V as this has built in freeview and should last me as a second machine for the bedroom for a number of years. Is this worth getting? |

Haven't got any direct experience of it, but I'd reckon its a fair bet. Panasonic rarely make a duffer, and it seems to have plenty of features including the HDMI output - nothing can ever be completely 'future-proof' but this machine seems to have a fairly reasonable shot at it (whilst keeping an eye on the past).
