Wireless av to PC?
Is it possible to use a wireless av transmitter from my tv, &c to my pc? I've got a laptop in my kitchen and it would be great to watch tv/video on it sometimes, but I don't want to have to plug an aerial in... Any advice for this not-so-technology-minded newbie?
TIA! |

You would still need plug the receiver box into a video capture dongle (probabky using a SCART/S-Video converter) then into the laptop via on of its USB sockets). If you are happy to have this extra kit permanently sitting in the kitchen then it is possible.
If you can get a decent Freeview signal then you may wish to consider one of the Freeview USB dongles instead. At the end of the day there is no real substitute to running an aerial feed to the kitchen though. Last edited by gomezz : 16-11-2006 at 15:08. |
