Bon Jovi - awsome!
Just watched them on UK Music Hall of Fame, and they were absolutely class. One of the best bands of all time!

Just boring old poodle rock arent they?
I know they have a lot of fans but I find them as dull as hell, sorry. |

Now they're a bunch of balding decrepit old men squeezing themselves into stonewashed denim and expensive but hideous brown leather jackets and playing a dull middle of the road continuation of poodle rock. |

The way they treat their bass player is appalling, how many albums do you have to play on before you get your picture on the cover.

they may not be groundbreaking...but they are fantastic live.
i saw them in manchester for the first time this summer, and they played for 2hrs40mins, with Jon bon Jovi only taking one break (whilst Ritchie Sambora sang) which is very hard to do. wasnt a fan of the slowed down version of livin on a prayer they did last night though, but "its my life" saved the set IMO |

They agreed with the new bass player that he would play with them but would never be a part of Bon Jovi as he didn't have the history with them as they did with each other. He agreed to it. Funny that they lost it when he left! |

Funny that they lost it when he left! I thought he was an alcy or druggie, they got rid of him because he wasn't very good. It's all a little odd, anyhow he plays on the records I assume, keep the faith was the last of their albums I felt compelled to buy, you can't get more part of the band than that. Always thought it was pretty petty of them considering how long he's been there now.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alec_John_Such |

"Bon Jovi - awsome"
Three words I would never have expected to see in the same statement. I have to agree with other posters on this thread, poodle headed rockers well past their sell by date. Although to be honest I never liked them before their sell by date either. Saw them briefly on T4 today. One of them has the worst permed hair I've seen in a long long time
