They said on Entertainment Today he was given a great welcome, Lauren Booth helped him to the shower

Dean told them he was going to explain what happened to him, but then proceeded to explain from right back when he was still in England - which did make me laugh, he was still bewildered.

Lauren and abut 4 others showed him where to wash and they started to kick up a fuss because they wouldn't turn the shower on for him.

Then Phina was actually physically washing him

Then it was sort of the end of the live show.

I watched the live feed until about 12.15 last night and he still hadn't turned up. Surely it didn't take two hours for him to walk from the BTT to the camp? I'd love to know what went on in those two hours and how many times he was sick again

I too was waiting up to see him return to camp, but gave around 11.45. I wonder what goes on behind the scenes for him to take that long before being llowed into camp. Any ideas?
I suppose they might have to give him a quick medical check after such a trial, but surely not for over 2 hours. Also you'd think thay whatever delayed him entering the camp he might have had a chance to clean himself up a bit???????

I would guess he had a safety briefing. He had had the worst of the gunk washed off him, but he still had the goggles on his head, and they hadn't given his stuff to him.

That yellow gunk turned pink on his boxer shorts when he got in the water. I wonder if it was just straight forward gunge?

I was also suspicious about the delay in him reaching camp. I happened to see him turn up and be washed in the stream by Phina. Unless he saw the psychologist or the safety expert for that amount of time, there is sosmethign dodgy going on with their supposedly live fed.

I have a feeling he was with medic Bob all that time. He sure needed it lol.

Just a thought/guess, but maybe the live feed was delayed by about an hour or so?

(OFF TOPIC I am sure they used to do a simlar delay on BB on the rare occasions that I switched from Channel 4 to E4 to see the remaining housemates reactions to evictions).

BACK ON TOPIC: I must admit I also wondered why it took Dean to take so long to arrive into camp but I have a feeling that what they showed last night was from not long after Ant & Dec left the camp and the end of the 8pm show so there was an hour before the next trial and then the duration of the trial before Dean headed into the camp.

I could be completely wrong though

P.S. There was no clock with the local time showing on the "live feed" last night which also led me to believe that the above theory could be potentially be the case!

Yes definately agree he would have spent some time with Bob being checked over, but I can't imagine him agreeing to remain in those clothes and with maggots all over him for nearly 2 hours

Unless of course the gunge he had on when he entered the camp was fake gunge, the real gunge having been washed off after the trial??

I meant just TV Gunge - the fake stuff they used to use on Noel's House Party and the like - as opposed to actually being something disgusting from a strange Australian creature

Surely if he had been with the medics then he would have been cleaned up a bit?!

Cynical? Me? Never!

Bit weird though.

I agree with the people that are suggesting what we saw wasn't actually live.

There was a moment when he arrived in camp and was telling people about the stars /meals he'd won when matt wandered off to do something and there was a look of pure unbridled jealousy on his face it was only fleeting but you could see it ,it was up there with when Phina was talking to Toby and jan launched herself like and excocet rocket to split them up and regain the Tobster for herself
