I loved Will and Hanna, and Karen and Bill and Camilla and James lol!

I'd say Louisa and Vincent, Darren and Gloria, and I can't really remember any others.

Patsy and Anton never did a lot for me!

I was never a Anton fan until this series and he has finally won me over, Jan got on my last nerve though!

Bill and Karen by far

I agree about the 'Anton with anybody' comment - Lesley, Esther, Patsy...it's just never worked for him, has it?!

Also Bill and Karen - I HATED Bill!
Gloria and Darren - they were never going to get very far
Siobhan and Matthew - never saw much of them anyway!
Jaye and Andrew
Will and Hanna
Dennis and Izabela
Mica and Ian

I won't be popular but I find Emma and Darren very boring.

Also Lilia and Matt.

I do like Darren and Lilia but not their partners this year.

Have to agree, also:

Anton and Esther
Gloria and Darren

and probably a few more

I agree about Emma and Darren - they're a bit like Barbie and Ken - I don't want to call them plastics and mean it in a Richard BB way, but they are a bit - cheesey for me! I'm sure they're both genuinely lovely people, though, and I love watching Darren dance with his wife, she makes him come alive!

Ian and Mica was a total bore, and Ian's my favourite dancer! Oh, and I never really took to Brendan and that Casualty woman or whoever she was - that was the other extreme to Emma and Darren, and the tantrums just bored me.

Yeah I agree. Of this year's I find them by far the least interesting of those left in. I don't know why - perhaps lack of chemistry.

Triple dito that for me they just totally DON'T work in my book. Whining Spicy just winds me up the wrong way(irritating reminder of the Zo (e)-ster)...
Emma could and should take a leaf out of Louisa's book. That girl has fun with her Italian (mini ) Stallion
And Vincent's 'arrogance for the camera' (cause that's all I perceive it to be) is harmless and funny imo.
Let's face it peeps: at least they excite us every Saturday night.

Another boring pair, I thought, was Ray & Camilla; that partnership never really took off because Ray, imo, just seemed so serious all the time and the chemistry didn't appear real to me.
However I did enjoy the connection she had with James Martin last season..but that's just me I guess

I agree! Will had potential and was knocked out long before Bill and Karen, and may I add I don't buy into this cheesey Karen and Mark relationship this year. They both seem to be so smug. I really like Emma and Darren although I admit I had no time for the spice girls.

Sorry, add me to the list. Matt and Lilia are growing on me since he's coming out of himself a bit more, but I just can't warm to Darren and Emma as I just don't see that spark between them that makes a partnership exciting.

Darren Bennett & anyone..... just don't get him at all and even although Jill was sensational, as a couple they were dull, dull, dull.

Bill & Karen......ugh ! Even now I run for cover at the mere mention of them

Denise & Ian...... a very boring partnership, but a great combination dance-wise.

Bill and Karen might not have been the greatest dancers but boring was the last thing I'd call them. They were different and at least brought humour and some chemistry to the proceedings!

As for Mark being smug we must be watching a different man. He comes across as very humble to me.

This is the first series of SCD that has really engaged me. Rather surprising, as I'm lousy at dancing and usually grace the dance floor with all the rythmic motion, agility and finesse of an inebriated hippopotamus.

My current interest in the series is due, in large part, to the immensely likeable pairing of Mark and Karen. Their Salsa (for me) , was unquestionably the dance of the series to date. The contrast between Karen's effervescent, confident persona and Mark's shy retiring nature is great to watch. They clearly get on well, like each other, and dance well together.

I can't compare with partnerships from previous series, but in comparison to Mark and Karen, some of the other remaining pairs are about as appealing as having to stick my head up a baboon's backside and only marginally less annoying than a bout of diahhorea.

And me. I don't dislike either couple but I just don't find them particularly engaging when they dance.

A fabulous first post.

You've set a standard now that will be hard to keep up.

ROFL.

Hear hear hear.

Calling Bill and Karen boring is like calling a tape of Paddy Ashdown's greatest speeches entertaining.

I can watch them on SCD and ITT forever, whereas some of the crop this year....

And Mark's a super guy.

LOL! Great post Crapdancer and welcome, as for boring partnerships at the moment I'm not really feeling Claire and Brendan, they seem to get on fine but as far as connecting on the dance floor sometimes it doesn't work.
