Oasis - Stop the Clocks

So who's buying their new Best Of? Have to say it's a very odd tracklist with a few forgettable B-sides and no new song to promote it. Still, I'll be there first day, the moron that I am.

Here's two pro reviews:

Mansized

Pointless. It shouldn't be called 'Stop The Clocks' it should be called 'Contractual Obligation'.

Who picked the songs? Was it oasis or the record company?

I think it its a bit of both, Oasis and their record company came to an agreement on the album, there was originally gonnabe 2 new tracks, but Oasis didn't want want them on it. I could be wrong though.

Oasis im led to beleive, theyve said they wanted to make it a "greatest set list" album

ie if they played their best gig ever it'd have those songs in it

and they said that they plan on doing a chronologcal 'proper' best of when their careers are over.

Yeah, it says in that Mansized review that Oasis chose the tracklist.

I think it's an excellent tracklisting but should have a few more tracks on. It's a double CD but only lasts 86 mins - you can fit nearly double this onto 2 CDs so there's no reason for missing off classics like "Whatever" or "Stop Crying...".
