Can the format of this show get any better?

I noticed earlier that they've kept the same format for this show since... well since series 1 I think.

Same camp.. same sounds.. same format.. same style of intros.. same ant/dec.. same build up to revealing who is facing the trial.. same camera angles.. same bridges.. same table.. same everything.

It all works well tho, doesn't it?! I struggle to think of anything they can do better on this show. Maybe Big Brother should learn from this.

Someone clearly has a "don't fix what ain't broken" attitude in the production team.

Well I'm not really watching.

They broke the ITV2 show .. and are now having to back-track by employing MDS ...

Where is the streaming?

Things have been changed and not for the better.

I was moaning about the lack of streaming a week or so ago...........but I'm not so sure now.

I've been watching the 60/90 minutes that they have been showing..........and it's pretty dull.

Judging by the forum posting, not many people are watching it..............the 'daily' thread pretty much dies when the main show finishes

Personally I'd like to see more live streaming, but the Execs who make the decisions might have got it right.........perhaps the public have just got bored with hours of nothing much happening..........

To be honest the live streaming (what little there is of it) is better than the main ITV1 show at times.

You get to see EVERYONE on it, and the true personalities of the contestants are coming out. For example the group discussions going on last night on the streaming (one where they cooing over Matt, and the second where they were talking about TV - which progressed into how they were going to initiate the new member), showed them having a laugh together and all being quite funny. But because they were getting on it never makes it into the live show.

I'm fed up of the live shows centering around the same couple of people. Everynight so far we've had something connected to David, then Jan moaning, then a food montage, then poo talk, then Jan vs Phina and Scott and that's it. Add in some brief cameos from the others in the celebrity chest bit and the show is done.

The producers need to work on the balance of the stuff they're showing - they've all had funny moments, but they're being highly selective about who they show.

Interesting how on the Live feed David is always asleep - yet he's portrayed as a better character than those who always seem to be working their arses off.

I tell you what Series 6 has been tweaked just a little and just the right amount with a good mix of celebs to completely revamp the series I'm genuinely hooked in the way I was with series 3. 4 and 5 were good but a bit samey, celebs ok but not great. This year has me totally hooked - could loose me in the next two weeks but with the way its going now it won't.

I've noticed there have been no major changes to the format across the series. And it's still as entertaining as ever.

Big Brother is on a lot though.

There have only been 11 weeks of I'm a Celebrity in total since it began. Thats the stage Big Brother was at in 2001!

I'm a Celebrity doesn't have to overdo it yet, so I'm glad they aren't.

It's a pity the evening show isn't longer. We don't have much 'camp life' now ... it's all trials and editing bitchy comments. I remember the good old days of Tony and his logs, the arguments about keeping the fire going, the camp fire entertainments with them having to put on a show .... I guess that's all going on, but we're only given the 'highlights'!

I wish it was on for a bit longer and the ITV1 show on at half five isn't worth watching but other than that you can't fault it. I used to like Big Brother but I doubt I'll watch the next one at all if they make another series.

I just can't get enough of Ant and Dec trying not to crack up at the tasks, its nice to see reality tv which is mostly about everyone having a bit of a laugh instead of trying to gnaw eachothers faces off for money.

Live streaming works best in things like Celeb scissorhands where the people are doing soemthing all the time, specially steve stranges hands which seem to be living a life of their own

I'm not a huge fan of this... I was just thinking that this year the format has been tweaked to make it more like BB, but maybe I'm just not knowledgeable enough about previous years. There seem to be more twists now. Specifically, the trials that require 2 people or no people, and the continual influx of new celebrities.

I have lost a lot of interest in the show this year because there is no live stream

I voted on every show last year but not this year and I dont inten to throughout the rest of the show

last year I never stopped posting on this forum this year I cant seem to get involved that much

I noticed someone tried to set up a WHATM thread last night, but what is the point for a hours feed

Really dissapointed this year with it and I think many who did watch and vote because of the live feed will not do so this year

I dont want to be pointed towards the cleb that ITV want to win I would rather choose myself

If we didnt have live coverage last year I personally think ITV would have steered the public even more towards Sheree winning

In recent series they have started to introduce new celebrities so it's certainly nothing new, although the voting one to do a bushtucker trial was new. It's hardly a major twist though, because they were both going to go in anyway. I'd agree that it has been tweaked, but nothing more.
