Doesn't Virginia Raven bear a passing resemblance to Eddie Izzard?

I hated virginia's new haircut, she looks like a lesbian now. I'm not so sure about the new crossroads, having someone die in the first episode doesn't seem like such a good idea. The gay guy- how more stereotypical can you get? I thought that the two thieves were supposed to be nicola and jazz as they were talking about phil.

A slight contradiction in your attitude here?

Well there you go. After years of the public being mistakenly informed that Crossroads was rubbish, it now is. I hope everybody is happy now.

Well I enjoyed it, but then they were kind of preaching to the converted as far as I go.

I really liked this - I don't normally like soaps, find them too boring, and drab, but I liked Crossroads - it was bright and fast moving - who needs, so called real-life shows all the time.

Sherrie hewson looks awful - like she has had a bad facelift. In step with her character but what is happening to people. Can't they see how awful they look with this cosmetic surgery - see L eslie Ash on Merseybeat!

Jury is out on the newlook crossroads as yet.
Hate the titles and the harp/clavichord or whatever setting of the theme tune. Bring back the old version!

From media guardian(monday's show)
"And the first episode of the new, glitzier Crossroads proved an ITV hit with 2 million viewers - a 14% audience share - at 5pm, neck-a-neck with Channel 4's Richard and Judy"
I think to keep on going they want 2.5million regularly

I missed the opening 15 minutes of the first two shows, but from what I've seen it hasn't been bad. It beats Neighbours and Home and Away in my Book and since theres nothing better on any other channel at that time, it's quite good. Glad to see they have a proper pub this time as it's esental to Any soap and I think this "love merry go round" between Rocky Virginia and the house keeper who was Mage in Neighbours will provide some good and funny storylines.

I quite enjoyed tonights show. How many revelations can you have in one episode? Suzi has two kids, she gets found out about her run in with Jimmy on the train, the twins? fight, they try to buy her off. Lots of action, it's quite good and I hope it stays that way.

What about young Scott. In only 8 months he has grown about 2 feet taller and looks somewhat different

Oh God - the little heart that pops up as the name Crossroads is written across the screen. Pass the bucket!

Jane Asher should have stuck to making cakes.

People are so good/bad that it's like panto.

Enjoyed every minute.

Yeah I think the music and the titles are quite bad and they've gone overbord a bit, but it's something to watch while having tea. It would be better though if they explained where some of the Characters dissapeared to.

Yes, it's all very confusing! Kate has borrowed money from her friend Max - yet his wife now owns the hotel. Given that they are friends of hers they are treating her pretty badly. Surely the old Kate wouldn't have put up with that sort of crap. What has she borrowed the money for? They seem to be saying that she will be buying the hotel back when she's repaid the money - so why has Max (AKA JR Ewing) moved his entire family into the hotel? Didn't they have lives/jobs before Max lent Kate money? Why didn't Kate clear off with the rest of her family?

Why is the alcoholic daughter-in-law (forgot her name - big lips and hair) working in the cocktail lounge instead of running the beauty parlour?

Wasn't Max's daughter in it before, only as a different character?

What is Madge from Neighbours doing there? Why has no-one else got an Australian accent?

Am I slowly going mad?

If she's an Alcoholic, would the cocktail lounge be a good place to work? Could be like tempting fate.

Unless they are setting an alcoholic falls off the wagon type storyline.
