Well he always did have a temper when he played cricket.

I am sure it was much a do about nothing.

The professional rumba's I always remember are the ones that show powerful tension and passion with glimpses of softness and love between the dancers. I know its the professionals skill that brings that to the dance, but I'm always sold.

That level of performance would be nearly impossible for a non-dancer to perform, particularly one who is not an actor. So, that little bit of tension could easily help Mark's performance tonight.

All the couples must be stressed with all the training, one little argument will not make a dent in their obvious friendship and respect. I don't know Karen, as many on here do, but she doesn't look like a girl who would be offended at bad language - and, if she thought it was necessary, possibly give as good as she gets.

Here's wishing them well for tonight.

This doesn't surprise me at all... I knew that there was something Not Quite Right about the situation.

Don't buy it for a second!

They have done far more stressful dances that this one; As he is now the favourite he is the one they want to make stories up about

Mark still has my vote and still the least boring contestant!

Do the BBC have shares in The Sun ???

Could this be an attempt to knock their popularity and keep Emma & Louisa top ???

I think the fact that it's been 'reported' in the sun would make me question the validity and substance of this particular spat.

Even so, swearing in training? Big deal. As long as it's edited from the main show for the sake of younger ears, what does it really matter? The celebs must get frustated with the demands of their routines at times. They are only human.

Anyway, I agree with Dippy here.

Don't believe what the papers say.

If it will sell papers, they will print any old rubbish, it doesn't matter how right or wrong it is.

He may have said it, he may have said something that sounded like it or it might be totally bogus - there is no way of knowing unless he speaks up about it.

Karen said on ITT after "Brendangate" that dancers are like that it's all hot wind and all goes over her head.

She's cried in training when stressed and he "may" have sworn this story is not worth the paper it's being printed on

Allyfree, get yourself back home and take an extra dose of medicine - two tablespoons of C&M, three mashmallows and wrap yourself in a fluffy blanket. The only known cure for cynicism.

The sun was right last week about the (small) argument between Emma and Darren. I don't believe their bigger stories for a second, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

I'm sure it's all forgotten about now if it is true, after being partnered with Bryan Watson in the pro world, I'm sure Karen has had to put up with a lot worse before!

I guess it's a lot of stress and you can have a lot on your mind, these things happen. People abandoning him because of one f***, that's just funny. Throw a stone if you never said "F***" in your whole life

The BBC probably put out the story today so everyone will watch tonight and see.

What on earth do you mean `something not quite right`?

Just said that he has gone down in my estimation if its true, as a student of Karens I would NEVER abandon them Just don't like him speaking to her like that( if he actually did) thats all

It would have been far more surprising if they had managed to dance there way to the end of the series without tensions between the two surfacing at some point. The chances of Mark and Karen (or any other pair for that matter) completing their stint in the competition without experiencing frayed tempers, are about the same as the likelihood of my next fart being expelled with the sweet frangrant aroma of an expensive French perfume.

The use of the F-word or any expletive was uncalled for, but I would hazard a guess (given Mark's nature in general) that he has already got down on hands and knees and apologised profusely to Karen. A good performance this evening and all will soon be forgotten.

This certainly doesn't affect my wish to see both Mark and Karen win. It can only be won as a team and I'm sure both realise this.

DerChef says

all rather fishy this rather brief article missing lots of things like "when " was this supposed to have happened, the implication is this week but it could have been anytime. Might have been in the 4 weeks before the first night.

Secondly who their source was as they are usually rather keen to say things like "close to karen hardy" or "within the BBC" to add an air of legitimacy.

Again nothing now if it was within the BBC that as hammy hampster would say is another story

ohhhhh yeah (and **** off )

Precisely. Not surprised he had a moment with a dance he's apparently finding difficult. That's just him.

I imagine this did happen, but it probably wasn't a huge deal. People fight, especially when they spend that much time together- it's actually a sign that they feel comfortable with each other, rather than walking on eggshells. I'm sure about ten minutes later, Mark apologised and Karen laughed. That just doesn't make good news as far as the Sun is concerned.

Is that ALL they can get on Mark? One four letter word that is used just about all the time these days?

Wow - hold the front page! Shocking!! Terrible!! Isn't there a prison sentence for this sort of thing? *huge rolling of eyes*

There (IMO) is a real intensity in this partnership - both are total perfectionists, and so what if they have a little spat - if indeed they have, as I have learnt from experience to never believe a word that excuse for a paper has ever come out with.
