If that was aimed at me Kez100 after my comments about the sun, let me say again I'm NOT saying that you should believe any tabloids as of course they all exaggerate and include bias. All I'm saying is that the sun isn't the worst tabloid out there as many people think and that some people would be surprised at how many of their sources were actually true sources-even if the reality goes on to get lost in the editorial. That's all I'm saying!

When it comes to the media, and tabloids in particular, people should be asking 'where does truth begin'.

I suspect you're right, Emz: was trying to think how to put it myself but you said what I was thinking much more succinctly than I would've managed.

I'm believing it because I want it to be true.

It's aimed at all tabloids. I'm not on a personal hunt.

For enjoyable fiction - there are some authors out there, imo, far more deserving of anyones 30p/day.

Exactly! What a non-story. As others have said all couples will have abit of tension at some point. And besides being able to be frank with someone is usually good sign if anything.

Everything else we have seen and know about them to date points to a great partnership and friendship so one dubious Sun article shouldn't worry people.

They'll be fine. No doubt giggling about it with Claudia on ITT at somepoint next week.

Actually before reading today's tabloids online I had been thinking they hadn't run many SCD stories this week...

Everybody is entitled to snap and as long as they apologise then I don't see that this is a big deal. We've all said or done stuff when we've been under pressure that we don't really mean.

News of the World is full of rubbish though - almost as much as Daily Mail and Mirror.”

I take your point, Erinfan, I really do. I work in the media too. The best thing I can say about the sun is that they come up with some very witty headlines. But I know people who've worked at said paper and I've heard some dodgy things from *very reliable sources* who claim it is extremely liberal with the truth. I also remember Hillsborough, and as journalism goes, that was a true nadir.

I imagine re M&K there may be a grain of truth that was planted in a big field of poo and left to ripen in the sun (pardon the pun) and then dished out to a gullible reader who really does believe everything they read in the papers and..... oops! Time to get off my soapbox, I think.

I do know what you're saying. Only I would hope anyone with half a mind would reserve judgement until they really know the full, unsullied truth.

Sugartingles, I take your valid points too and I think we all agree that all tabloids are pretty terrible and exaggerate to the point of the ridiculous, but I still don't think the Sun is the worst - although that's not saying much when you look at the other tabloids I'm comparing it with. (Although sister paper News Of The World might be the worst, although many would argue the Daily Mail - especially if you work for channel 4!)

I'm sure the Karen and Mark argument, whatever happened, was forgotten really quickly and I'm sure it will have no influence over tonights events! looking forward to seeing their Rumba!

Me too! Hope he gives it some wellie!

I've just been watching some of the old Strictly stuff on YouTube because I can't wait for my next hit, I'm in bed sniffling and it's nice to have a way of passing the time. Wish I had taped some of the older episodes....... Only a few more hours to go.

Here's to some attitude and (nice) aggression!

I wonder who leaked this to the press? The BBC really don't want him to win, do they?

Isn't YouTube a brilliant invention!! I wish I'd taped the 2nd series as well! Hope it all goes well for them!

I don't think the BBC cares who wins.

I'd be surprised if "tirade" is the correct description. I'm not surprised, however, that two people spending so much time together will have the occasional argument.

I have heard others mention Mark's temper in cricket so I guess it finally came out here. But Karen's used to working in a pressurised competitive environment so I'm sure she'll deal with it.

From what I have seen of Mark on TV, if it is brought up by Claudia I think he will be quite embarrassed.

I don't think for one minute this will stop them doing a fantastic rumba tonight!

Estilolibre is as usual spot on. It would be a wonder if any couple got to the end of the series without any cross words between them.

As for the Sun article - some strategic leaking, methinks. Remember the results show is up against I'm a Celeb tonight. SCD needs to keep its audience

Those quiet intense guy's often have really bad tempers so I wouldn't be surprised if this story isn't fabricated. I don't why but I have a feeling this Rumba is gonna be HOT!!! now that there is tension between them

Plz elaborate . I don't really know much about Bryan, only that he's an absolute brilliant dancer & definitely one of my favorite dancers. Did he give her a hard time or something?

He's gone up in my estimation if he did. I was getting a bit fed up with this oh he's so quiet and meek and shy. It must have bloody irritated him to here it all the time, surprised he didn't turn around and say "well you're a f***ing loudmouth, shut up!"

mo5a - He's an absolute legend of a dancer - I can't speak highly enough of his dancing, but he was/is known for being a bit firey and throwing a strop or two. He has been accused of pushing other competitors whilst on the dance floor and apparently really cracks the whip with partners.

The pushing incident aside, (which by the way happened when he was partnering Carmen not Karen) you can't really blame him for the rest as he's obviously very driven and competitive and that's what has got him to the top! Also perhaps what I've heard is a bit exaggerated. One thing is for sure though, he's definitely no friend of Paul Killick, who was very outspoken about Bryan pushing his partner Hanna whilst they were all dancing.

Can not believe anyone actually reads the sun and if they actually believe a word. Thought it was just a show paper for girls with big attributes.
