I'm pretty sure they do care. It's been quite obvious to many people that the BBC would rather a certain pretty blonde singer to win, not another hairy cricketer!

I'm not accusing the BBC of fixing the result, but leaking stories to the press at the right time can change the way people vote.

Remember the Sun's "Will the last person leaving the country please turn off the lights" headline a few years ago? At the time Labour were ahead in the polls. After that headline was printed their ratings dropped and the Tories eventually won. Never underestimate the power of the press!

Don't worry people, I'm sure The Sun is just spouting their usual bull. The precious Mark is sure to be safe for another week.

I disagree that the BBC want Emma and Darren to win. If they wanted them to win they would not of shown the VT of Emma and Darren having an arguement, as it made them look bad.

Well someone leaked that story for a reason, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Mark or Karen!

Below is the publicity equation:

Popular Couple + Naughty Story (fight, swearing, eating little children etc.) + Leak To Toilet Paper Tabliod = BIGGER RATINGS

The BBc has shown everyone else's fights, even if they have swear words in them cos they normally just bleep it, but nothing was shown tonight so i'm sure its just the Sun showering us with their bull again! Plus loads of the other dancers have told their partners to f*** off and nothing major has come of that

I agree. If they had a stonking row the BBC would have shown it. If it did happen the it was probably Karen saying something like "get really really close to me" and him jokingly saying "oh f*** off that close? really? " You know its probably just the sun taking it out of context.

Mark is a perfectionist, and when he can't get things he goes a bit quite and sometimes he gets really angry (there a countless dressing rooms around county cricket grounds around the country that can testify to this!), so the story is probably true BUT if the story's about Bryan Watson are true, then it's nothing Karen can't handle.

I think their dance was a bit off because it's a really difficult dance to get right, and Mark was probably peed off when he finished because he probably thinks he let Karen down.

The pushing incident aside, (which by the way happened when he was partnering Carmen not Karen) you can't really blame him for the rest as he's obviously very driven and competitive and that's what has got him to the top! Also perhaps what I've heard is a bit exaggerated. One thing is for sure though, he's definitely no friend of Paul Killick, who was very outspoken about Bryan pushing his partner Hanna whilst they were all dancing.”

Oh I had no idea about this. I hope the accusations of him pushing other competitors while competing are false because if it is true, that would totally make me lose respect for guy.

Storm in a teacup.

I've sworn at partners and have had partners swear at me. In one partnership, we danced our best when we were angry with each other, because we carried that tension onto the floor where it turned into an explosive performance. Once, we danced a Rumba, absolutely chock a block with spitting venom. it was our best performance for ages!

Dancers get het up over stuff, frustration and exhaustion play their part and things get said in the heat of the moment. It doesn't mean that we mean it!
