Did anybody else notice that the voting number for Matt & Lillia's dance was actually Claire & Brendan's number in the run through at the end of the show??? I actually voted for Claire & Brendan. Aaaaaaarrrrrrggghhhh!!!!

grrrrr. Hopefully someone will notice and not count the votes for that period. Matt & Lilia won't leave, there's no fear of that. But I am scared that Claire & Brendan won't leave! They should go.

I hope anyone ringing through getting Brendan and Claire will revote for Matt and Lilia!!

I voted for M & L again......twice. Anything to make sure my vote doesn't count in favour of C & B. They need to go!!

Twice to make up for it!! But if C&B are getting loads of votes not meant for them then they might stay and they really really shouldn't.

The point is that this could save Claire and Brenden and the risk of another couple.

Just imagine though if that were Emma and Darren's name instead by mistake ! Certain members of this forum would be foaming at the mouth in apopletic rage, overcome with conspiracy theories. LMAO !

I noticed it but I very much doubted if it'll make much difference. Considering we are in week 7, pepple either have remembered it by heart, have written it down or can't be bothered to vote.

Or people only vote for the best dance of the night which changes each week and it's not very often that Matt & Lillia are the best. Hpefully the fact they are top of the leaderboard will save them.

It could make a difference to Peter & Mark as Claire and Brenden have not had the public vote recently. I called the BBC and they are getting lots of complaints.

Really ? That's interersting. I wonder what would happen if, and it's highly improbable but if, Matt and Lilia went out they would do about it as it would clearly be a BBC error.

I have to say though, out of all the utter nonsense about a conspiracy and bias re: Emma here, that's the only real evidence you could ever say that has biased one couple over another. A mistake of course, but still, it could well get them many votes, even if people only vote once and realise their mistake.

As you say, this could be a set-up to get the elimination postponed this week.

If nobody gets eliminated this week then the BBC should carry the judges scores over to next week and so next weeks marks will be a combined total out of 80 after the 2 weeks dances.

As I mentioned on another thread - do people not read the name next to the number??

I saw it said Claire and Brendan and realised they had it wrong, so used the numbers I have had written down for weeks before.

Not much they can do about it now though...

I voted for Claire at the end and it was Claires number. First time-voter this series. I just thought the dance was sexy and very classically Tango.

After the debacle of the Salsa(spit) the revelation of the American Smooth and tonight(and I judged only on tonight) she deserved the vote. I am warming to her now they have stopped mesing about.

Matt was superb but just did not quite do it for me but that could be just due to Waltz against Tango.

Oh, and I think they probably just messed up with the voice messages. They will know what numbers were called the fact that it said Claire means nothing (to me. Oh, Vienna.)

No way do Clare and Brendan deserve to go They have been better these last two weeks and SCD would be a sorry place without them.

Find it really bizarre that ALL the marks seem to be higher for the less able dancers this week - is there a plot ????? Perhaps NO eviction - on another point tho Bruno and his "Emma" coloured specs needs sacking - all the judges could see it wasn't her finest hour -but oh no not Bruno it makes me soooo mad

I didn't think about this, but think about this, it's possible because this series is scheduled to have 12 weeks and then Jimmy Tarbuck left so it is now only 11 weeks. If this is the case (that this week's count doesn't count), then everyone is a winner this week! Couldn't ask for more. Everyone here should be happy!

It made a difference to me - i vote for the best each week, and they were it tonight,but i hadn't memorised their number.

I just thought as i was typing, maybe this is their 'reason' for having a null vote - surely they need one after Jimmy leaving

I noticed straight away at the end. I don't usually vote for Matt and Lilia but I know they come out first and therefore 14 couldn't be their number.

I too wondered if this was a set up in order to avoid having to have an elimination (clearly I've spent too long reading all the conspiracy theories on here!). If anyone but Claire and Brendan leave now people will be saying it is unfair and not necessarily correct...

Would the BBC be allowed to get away with nobody being eliminated this week?
What would happen to the votes that have already been made? People have paid to cast their vote.
If they carried the votes over as they are, wouldn't they be carrying over the wrong votes as well?

This is all so confusing! What a mess!
