That`s a contradiction in itself

How can you say Emma and Darren didn`t deserve to be in the bottom two as they werent the weakest couple, then state Clare and Brendan should`ve have gone over Erin and Peter who are the weakest couple left in the competition ?

Oh it was sweet indeed. Heavens above i didnt think i could tolerate another smug Bunton moment. She is nowhere near in the league she (or craig) thinks she is .

I enjoyed Carol and Matthew, which is strange because every time the judges have said shes been good ive hated it, i liked Emmas performance last week and was disappointed this week. I just thought it didnt look very good (sorry can't think of the word i want there) like i've said i'm not the biggest Emma fan but i admit she has done a few good dances. The problem as far as i'm concerned is that all of their latin dances look the same.

I'm just totally distraught that I'll not get to see Peter jive

how is she smug, claire is so much smuger than them, the smile on her face and the way she tries to pedal them, whereas emma is so much more reserved how dare you.

I just think its a load of spice girl haters who don't like emma, go and post your negative vibes elsehwhere

I don't think Claire is smug at all... it's just unfortunate that her nervous face looks like a smirk. I have the utmost respect for Claire King and what she is doing...

I don't think Emma is smug either btw.

Hardly. Liked Jan Ravens as a person very much didn't vote for her, ditto with Schmeichel. I ALWAYS vote for the dancing, and the partnerships with chemistry. I don't vote for the first few weeks until I get an eye for the competition, the person I give my first vote to (in this case Mark) tends to be the ultimate winner as per Darren, Jill and Natasha.

I don't like Emma, the only time when I've felt she deserved her mark was last weeks Samba, and I don't believe in her partnership with Darren. I don't think they get on, in the same way that cracks appeared between Anton and Patsy last year, it was OBVIOUS they didnt really like each other.

Its interesting what you've presumed about me from one post though, how patronising of you.

Your negative vibes about Claire aren't entirely called for, though. Besides, this is a thread about Emma, isn't it?

Good point. Well made.

Bit disturbing that people don't seem to be allowed to question the points raised in this thread.

As for Darren & Emma not getting along. This is rather different to what I've heard; & if someone can spend hours chatting with boring old me, they can get along with anyone

Not at all. I encourage debate, as I think most people who've talked with me already know. I was questioning the fact that someone was telling someone to bugger off and take their negative vibes with them when they were making negative comments themselves. Pot and kettle.

I wouldn't say she can't dance, she has had some great dances. My issue with her is she has had more average dances than good ones but still gets marked well and whines continually. I love Darren and liked her before this so was really hoping she would do well, unfortunately have started to seriously dislike her and was hoping she would go out.

There were more couples and there was less competition.
She danced third last week Ray was the first samba.

Mark and Karen were worse than Emma but they stayed too...all this Emma bashing is unreasonable. Yes, the judges are biased but that is hardly her fault.

I really liked Emma's dance last week and thought she deserved to be top with the judges. However this week I thought the dance was weak and Emma seemed to be really nervous, probably from lack of practice.

I think you have to judge every week on the dance preformed that night and this week Emma in my opinion deserved to be in the bottom two but I'm glad she didn't go. Perhaps this will give her a push for next week.

I understand where you're coming from but you need to understand that not everyone who dislikes Emma is a spice girl hater. As I've said before I liked Emma until she entered this competition, I just have no patience with her whining. She is incredibly lucky to be dancing with Darren and has been very lucky thus far in the competition to have good judges comments. She also annoyed me with her comment on ITT that "the judges can see we put our all into it, that's why they mark us high". Most people "put their all in it" but the judges do not ignore their sub-standard footwork because of it.

Exactly. i know it's not Emma's fault that the judges favour her it just annoys me and puts me off her even more. I'm sorry but i was quite glad that craig finally realised that Emma's dancing is not fantastic, and that usually it is average (although there have been some good moments in there)

This is precisely my problem with Emma, I also have issue with the frequency with which someone from her "camp" is featured on the ITT Friday panel

Totally agree Glen!

Personally I don't think Emma deserved to be in the bottom two, as they were couples who I thought didn't perform as well as they did. I now think that Emma will pull her socks up and really work hard. As for the arguments, debates create healthy relatioshipd; and it would be pretty boring if every couple got along. That ebing said I think that it has been hyped up a little; just for a story to sell.

Personally, not a Spice Girl 'hater' - I'm too old for them to have registered on my pop radar

I can't see how thinking that it wasn't Emma's best week dance-wise but that for some reason she still managed to score a 9 (!) is hating her. For me, watching the dance she was over marked, to my mate (who has no knowlege for forums ) she was over marked. I think that Bruno and his exuberance did her no favours at all.

Saying that she shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 because she wasn't one of the 2 worst dosen't really fly. Spoony shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 at all - but he actually went, the same with Ray last week. Even Georgina (and possibly Jan), wasn't the worst that particular week when they had to go. It's what happens when you give the pesky public the vote!
