Just watched the pro dance again from last night and at one point near the end Anton ends up about 5 meters from his partner and has to leg it to her when everyone else is right next to them.

I thought his dancing abilities were perfect, but hey, if this was a geniune mistake hes still the best on there followed by Brendan.

I think Vincent and Flavia made one, at the end when they run roud and do the cartwheel thing, Vincent the cartwheel then jumps back, and Flavia's not standing in the line. It was still a great performance though.
Also I wasn't sure if it was me but the bit when Ian and Camilla were in the middle doing the flicks out, did they miss a bit as Ian isn't in time with Camilla at one point? Could someone clairify(sp)?

There was also a bit in the pro dance when Ian makes a mistake - when all the guys were dancing. You see him do the wrong step and then pull a face!
Its quite early on.

It as a fabulous performance, stop picking holes in it!

I've said elsewhere that it was breathtaking.

All that matters is that it was a fabulous performance. They only have a very short time to coordinate the whole thing together, so mistakes are probably inevitable.

Why do people always want to pick holes in everything and eveyone. They are professional dancers not robots. who cares if Anton, Ian and Vincent made a mistake, perhaps it was Camilla, Flavia and Erin.

Who cares. get a life!

"Get a life"

I wonder if there is ever a time when that is called for.

I don't think it matters that there may have been a couple of mistakes - hey, it happens! It was a great performance.

O.K so there were a few flaws in it last night. It was still one of the best professional dances ever.

I wasn't picking holes in it. I loved it and can't actually stop watching it. I like the fact there were mistakes, shows that not everyone is perfect.

*goes to watch again*

Didn't notice any "faults" in the pros dance - however we (me and him indoors) wondered if perhaps there was a timing error in the dance he did with Erin later - he appeared to arrive on the dance floor (to massive applause) a little later than seemed to fit the music

Please Tango Trish dont get them started again. some people dont need much to start them going like rabid dogs.

Let it remain that it was absolutely fantastic and most people enjoyed it enormously. I know I did.

If those who are trying to pull it to pieces can dance better then let them prove it. Put their money where their mouth is so to speak.

Elizabethjo, take a look at your first sentence, read it and then read the thread again. Universally that dance was enjoyed, if not adored, the points have been put in a questioning fashion. Wouldn't it be better to address them by saying something from your undoubted experience like:

"No, that wasn't a mistake, you don't understand x/y/z"

rather than just being rude?

I don't feel the need to have to learn how to paint in order to pose a question about the purpose of Tracey Emins work or suspect that someone made a mistake in their work. Hey, it isn't even as if the professionals are getting criticised over it.

honestly just cos she "got at you" doesn't mean you need to join in on here as well. tonight this forum seems to be more of a lets slag off each other and fight forum than a lets enjoy SCD among fellow followers.

ditto. I feel like a naughty schoolgirl being told off!
Anyway reverting back to the normal way I post, I absolutely loved the professional dance on saturday and Anton and Erin dancing their number with Michael Bolton

Actually cheese whatever, I wasnt being rude just trying to stop the pulling apart of what was an inspiring performance.

You started this thread, I dont know why you did it but if you re read it yourself you must see that although everyone appears to have enjoyed it the only one who is not pulling it apart is cat123. A bit like throwing a small furry animal to a pack of wolves.

Get a life isn't rude? I explain in the first part why I created the thread. I pose a question, was it a genuine mistake? I still don't have an answer to it. Other people noticed different things they thought might have been mistakes.

Don't understand that bit.

I've never noticed Anton make what looked like a mistake when dancing with the pros before.

I wasn't pulling the performance apart, I was just curious. I loved both performances. I was just curious as to like Cheesemaster, if it was a mistake or not; that I had happened to have picked up on. We're not pulling it apart. I think that most of the people that have commented on this thread actually loved the performace; like myself.

Perhaps he didnt then? I am not going to say if I saw any mistakes or not. If it bothers you that much perhaps you should email ITT and ask Claudia to ask the question.
