This sort of thread has probably appeared before but I want to know what sort of bands you guys are into.

In no order, my top ten would have to be:

The Smiths
Radiohead
Scissor Sisters
Muse
Coldplay
The Cure
Supertramp
Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Beatles
The Clash

I know the moment I post this I'll think of more bands but oh well!

xx

In no order:

Muse
Radiohead
Nine Inch Nails
Hope of the States
Keane
UnderOath
Bright Eyes (Does this count as a band?)
Dashboard Confessional
The Long Blondes
Boy Kill Boy

Obviously these are only current favourites. Plus if we were including solo artists it would have to change a bit. E.g. Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, and probably Robbie Williams would get themselves involved.

Its satisfying to see that the fab four being mentioned so often in this thread. With all the hype in this country about Queen and Bohemian bloody Rhapsody, yet no one has stuck their neck out (yet) to say that Queen is amongst their favourite 10 bands!!

Hehe, thanks
Thirteen Senses are a great band, one I've only just rediscovered (first time round, as with Delays I kind of ignored them )- Into The Fire is probably my favourite one of theirs.

U2
The Cult
Primal Scream
R.E.M.
The Clash
The Who

I think I can only really say those are my very favourite bands - those that never change.
If I put in 4 more bands I like, just to make it up to ten, I'd probably change my mind next week or something.

Those six are always my favourite though, always in the top ten.
I love em.

I could have 100 and still it wouldn't be enough but after pruning the list, here's mine, in no order except the first one :

The Beatles.
Pink Floyd.
The Smiths.
The Beach Boys.
Focus.
The Who.
Ride.
The Charlatans.
Verve.
Pet Shop Boys.

Alright I can't have more but I've got to at least mention The Kinks, The Who, The Small Faces, Kayak, Royksopp, Cream, The Stone Roses and Primal Scream.

Not big sales at all. It was the old trick of selling the CD for 1.99 at Woolworths and then have it drop compeltely out of the chart the next week. It's why a band like Westlife have 10983 number 1's or something ridiculous like that

Queen, Killers, Abba, Beach Boys, Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Diana Ross & Supremes, Jackson 5...and...oh I dunno, other bands.
