Was it just me or was the scene with Phil and his new potential partner in the restaurant just awful. I was embarrased.

No, I agree with you! The waiter was completely OTT - he played the part well but yes, he was embarrassing. Ditto all the glass smashing in the kitchen.

And would anybody really have sat there that long?

lol........I don't think that the waiter alone maid the scene funny, it was the look on Phil's face that got me in stitches!

Yes it was. I got the distinct impression they put that scene in just to fill some minutes up. It was a cack story.

It was a romantic interlude to show us that they were so in tune with each other, and so happy they were in each other's company that nothing could upset them. Pass me the bucket please.

Well I don't think it was romantic except the ending. It just sounded to me at least that there was really a story there, just a catasrophy for the restaurant.

I think (cant remember her name) the girl Phil is dating has something up here sleeve.

I mean who for glad sake comes after you after you met them at a hospital after you are lost a loved one.

Some people believe in the fact that everything happens for a purpose and in fate, so perhaps she thought that she had met him for a reason and decided to follow him up. I reckon though that she's blaitantly a plant by the Police or by Mel to try to trick Phill into giving something away.
