And that's the very reason why she's last in the public vote, simply because she doesn't deserve it.

The 9 she got on Saturday was ridiculous and obviously designed to keep her high enough up the board to keep her in. 7s across the board would have been fairer. I'm not saying she deserves to be out, I just don't think she's better than a number of the other contestants.

In launching this thread you're absolutely beggin' for another Bunton Bashing if you ask me. A deaf man with bad eyesight could see her scores so far have been all over the place and have had absolutely no relation to anything remotely connected to dancing ability (that 'Bruno-lingo' enough for ya  )

hhhhhmm, best overall score doesn't necessarily correlate with best overall dancer though, does it? Especially not when you've got an over-excited Bruno handing out points like sweeties ...

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bruno's judging is downright corrupt. He is almost single-handedly responsible for turning the public against Zoe Ball last year with his overmarking. And I swear himself and Len must be getting SCD confused with DWTS where they hand out perfect 10 scores for every other dance

The three couples I wanna see go in the next three weeks are... Emma and Darren, Louisa and Vincent and Matt and Lilia.
I find myself disliking them - they may be good dancers but are lacking in something. For me Carol and Matt are the underdogs, Claire and Brendan are fun and Mark and Karen nail it every week and don't seem cocky about it like Emma and Louisa do. Matt just irratates me as he has no personlity whats so ever. The scores are biased anyway. Arlene gives scores just for who turns her on the most. Whereas Craig lusts after Emma as does Bruno over Louisa |

Agree.
Emma is a very poor dancer. Her footwork is awful and she seems to expect to be kept in because she was a spice girl. She knows how to smile and pose for the camera but the dancing is the worst of the lot who are left in. perhaps now she will work a bit harder. I expect the judges, Len and Bruno in particular, will try to put her at the top again to keep her safe as that appears to be what the BBC want. Hope the public vote goes the right way though. |

Louisa has had ONE good dance but very overrated scores every week, so I fail to see her attraction. Emma's moves are always better than Louisa's. Matt (recently) has been the improver but Carol has steadily been improving her moves every week since the start. The judges over award good scores if you improve and are not themselves consistent. On balance, the best overall dancer left in the competition is Mark. |

Love Mark and Karen, but don't think they were undermarked last week. Also, don't think Matt and Carol have been overmarked with their improvement. Dances where they've received good marks have been good dances and deserving of their scores. She might not have sold her Cha Cha, but believe me, there was enough technical stuff in there to completely deserve that 30 and those comments.

I don't think Emma is a 'poor dancer' at all.
She's certainly not the best we've ever seen, but she is at least on a par with any of the remaining contestants. I wouldn't consider Louisa to be any better. Most of them have had a combination of good/not so good performances. |

do you know what I am very upset, I always thought this forum was a nice and friendly one, but all over the weekend all I have seen is a bunch of comments panning Emma for no reason.
I'll tell you something, it's not her fault the judges mark her highly, she is a great dancer, not brilliant, but she isn't as bad as you bitchy and unecessary comments state. She still deserves to be in the competition as she is the most consistent competitor overall as the statistics state. So if you've finished, positive comments only please, winter is depressing enough!!! |

I think you need to look up the word forum.
It isn't a place for positive comments only ![]() Emma has the potential to be fantastic but she didn't practise enough last week and it showed up big time. |

Maybe she was ...but it was her choice to not train as much and it showed and she ended up in the bottom two because of it.
The others all have commitments too. Carol did 3 massive CHARITY events last week but was she moaning and groaning about lack of training time? All of the others have their own stuff to do but they actually commit themselves to their training. |

I really can't slate anyone of the dancers because they are all equally as good, but out of all the couples the weakest four even did not include Emma and Darren, not even the judges scores showed that and on the whole (despite bruno's ridiculous nine) the scores were true to the dance. |

Well you should be blaming the public then who were the ones who put her in the bottom two.
I never said Carole moaned about not getting the dance. I said she didn't moan about her lack of training time. |

The judges scores never reflect her true performance - and IMO opinion that was true on Saturday. |
