I still enjoy ITT. Claudia is a brilliant presenter and the interviews with the dancers and celebs are always interesting.

Send Amy Winehouse in her usual state...drunk and surly - that'd teach 'em!

is it just me who loved the loved the original Strictly Come Dancing Extra show when Justin Lee Collins hosted it and can't stand the Claudia one? This show was brilliant, it was 100% live every night, no pre-recorded crap and no old US has beens promoting their crummy covers albums. It had so many laugh out loud moments with the dancers from that series and JLC actually did 2 brilliant live dances infront of the big crowd, one with Len Goodman and one with Paul "Killer" Killick (who I think was the best and funniest pro dancer ever on the show). Plus there was live phone in's from the viewers, competitions with members of the public, funny sketches with the dancers, Justin giving all the contestants and dancers nicknames etc

We don't need all these singers/bands coming on to promote their singles then singing at the end...
Bring back Anton and Brendan!!! I love it when they sing together its so funny... Actually it was pretty good but the thought and look of having them two singing had me in stitches especially when Anton went out of time with Brendan... |

I completely agree with this - I only really watch it every now and again and there is always one point on the show I am asing myself 'why is this on?'
I reckon they need to bring it back to how it was in Series 1 - (do u see where I'm heading?!?!)!!! Stupid things like seeing Paul 'Killer' Killick taking Anton du Beke shopping to buy a pair of denims!! haha inspired! Not pointless celebs plugging there stuff! Nat xxx |

Please, instead of unconnected guests who freely admit to not even knowing why they are on the programme, could we have more training footage, more dances from previous series, more from the judges, more Phillip Jackson, more masterclasses, more about the professionals. Sorry, if that's not enough ideas. Yours, SCD Fans |

There hardly going to turn them down - much as I'd like them too! Please no more celebrity friends, I do not need to see Avid or Eammon gushing about their mates turns me right off voting for them. But I agree with every thing being said in this thread, I switched off when that dreadful Avid Merrion character appeared - Claudia should have smacked him lol. And as has been pointed out already, THEY need SCD more than SCD need them.

I've been saying this in the ITT thread but: - Where's the competitions to win the dancers costumes ? - Where's the phone in's ? - Where's the betting man ? - Where's the fun clips of the couples hanging out (we had a brief thing on Ray, randomly, a few weeks ago but that's been it) - Where's the monday review panel ? (We've had it twice so far this series) - Where's Du Beke ? (He used to do a lot of features in the past and he's always hilarious) etc. etc. Nearly everything that made ITT a fan orientated show has gone. You realise a show is going down the flusher when you have to pad it out with pointless, unrelated guests who have never watched the show and yet when you come to reviewing hte dances with the Judges the day before you run out of friggin time every single week ! HELLO ?! ITT is being hijacked into yet another sleb gravy train and it is cringeworthy in the extreme. I am *this* close to stopping watching, which is a shame as I've geeked over it for from the beginning. I soooo agree with all the missing elements Swonky has picked up on. It seems that the creativity has gone out of ITT. I really liked the red button extras after ITT 1 or 2 with Len's masterclass - an extra half hour of dance related film after the programme. I know the originals are on the website but it would be great if they could do another red button series - with Len teaching other variations and demonstrations from an amateur competitive couple. Come on let's make these programmes about dance again - not half washed-up celebs plugging a product! |

I agree with all the above and also the fact is there just ain't the characters of last year.
I ROFL still at ITT last year...Patsy, James, Bill, Will, Zoe, Dennis...everybody really all in their own ways so funny and likeable. There just isn't the celebrity sparkle of Series3. Craig trying to play snooker was classic. Also the pros doing bits...Anton and Brendan singing and what about Anton doing Saturday Night Fever? Where's the fun?
