Which is the best Samsung phone?

After months of deciding which Samsung phone to upgrade to from the useless E300, I've decided to go for the Z400 (which I've found on orange.co.uk for a bargain of £119.99). But before rushing into this choice I thought I'd ask for some opinions first. Does anyone have this phone? Are there any really bad thing that I must know about it? Or should I go for a different model like the D600 or spend more money and invest in a newer model like the D900. Cheers guys I'm counting on you for advice!

Well, specs-wise, the d900 is best. But a d600 is a good deal for the price.

I'd say D600. It has a 2mp camera, it has a great battery life. It has a mp3 player and videoing. Also it connects to the tv!
It depends what you'll be using you're phone for though. If its just for calls and texts E350 is sweet

The wife got a D900 - it's a great phone.

Nice and slim with a 3mp camera (with flash and video), a nice big and the clearest screen on a phone I've seen also it's 3G with video calling.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I don't really want the e900 because my sister already has that. The d900 is very tempting but still quite pricey. Im mainly going to be using the phone for texting, photo, video and music. Just wondering does a flash on the camera make a huge difference?

Hi there,

It does not make a diffrence for anything more than 10 feet away, but it's great for taking close ups of people in say a pub/nightclub where if you did not have a flash you would not see anything, but normal compact cameras only work for a certain difference (upto 30 feet).

Also you can get a cheap memory card for it for as I think it plays MP3 and AAC files as well.

I think the D900 is well worth the extra money if you can stretch to it (I'd have one if my contract was up and I normally only like Nokia's).

Cheers, Mark.

which is better - the E900 or the D900? They both look the same to me

The D900 is a little bit wider with a bigger screen, but it's a hell of a lot thinner.

I must admit that I'm not sure about the features between the 2 though.

As tempting as the D900 looks, I'm not able to stretch my budget that far! So it's now between the Samsung Z400 and the Samsung E770 which I've recently come across. Anyone know much about this phone? The dillema is that the Z400 has a 2.0mp camera and the E770 only has a 1.3mp camera but it has a flash and video light. It is also smaller and lighter. What would I miss more: a flash or 0.7 mega pixels?
