There's always a class joker and I don't know why people are taking it out so hard on Vincent because this time it's him!

I am very very luck to be taught by him and Flavia so even if noone else appreciates it (which I know some people do) he is a wonderful warm guy, with faults and weaknesses like everyone else. He's trying to do the best he can with cameras on him and if anyone thinks they could do better then let them try.

It would be nice to think that people just accepted people for the way they are, faults and all! OF course he can be irritating and silly, so can anyone especially with people watching their every move.

Give the guy a break - he was so scared when he did ITT last year - I seem to remember he nearly passed out just before it went on air!

Vincent is lovely - a very special man and a world class dancer. Maybe people should remember that above all else he's a person with feelings - and think how you'd feel if you read these kind of things about you.

Sorry I just had to get that off my chest

I agree too! He's adorable.

Unfortunately, although he is a great dancer, and no doubt a lovely person, he is a bit of a fool if he doesn't realise that his behaviour might be irritating to a large number of people, and that he is overdoing the act now, and it may well have an adverse effect on his and Louisas chances of getting to the final. He would do well to tone it down a bit now.

A lot of the pros/celebrites irritate different people!!! I find Matt Cutler the most fabulous man alive, but a few find him dull and boring. Karen is evidently very popular among fans, but I can't warm to her at all. It's just the way things go, no one is going to please everyone.

He's not a jerk, just a bit silly sometimes. Actually I'm really glad he's participating this year because (in my opinion) he has lifted the level of choreography up a notch. All the other pros are watching him and realising they've got major competition in the choreography department. Louisa and Vincent to win! And then to get married and have kids!

I was right up until your last comment!!

Half the reason I like Vincent so much is because he and Flavia are amazing together. They make a really cute couple, as well as being fantastic on the dance floor!

And Louisa's a kid, it's creepy!

Some people need an act to reassure themselves they are confident. Maybe this is his way of coping with the pressure. For him dance is all and if people don't take to him, I think as long as him and Louisa enjoy their dancing he'll be happy. You're never going to please everyone all the time.
Personally I'd rather someone stuck to who they were rather than changing their personality just to please people or to win votes.
Everyone has their favourites and there not so favourites - we'd be bored if we liked them all! Vincent isn't really putting on an act that he can change - its his way of being confident in himself. Anton does it with his "marvellous" image and Brendan by being confrontational - it wont appeal to everyone but noone ever will!
I don't think the pros put on personalities to try and win votes - all the pros I know just want to get dance out there to the public and perform themselves - winning is just an extra sparkle!

Louisa's 18 now. She's a adult - with the spirit of a child.

she's still 10 years younger than him!

She's not 18 til February (although her Eastenders character is 18)

i know he was really playing the joker, vincent really gets on my nerves because he's far to arrogant anf full of himself, like on ITT last week they showed brendan a clip of Vincent basically slanging him off.

Louisa really gets on my nerves aswell at least she leaves Eastenders this week. They're the perfect match.

And he is married. Don't people have any respect for other people's relationship anymore?

There seems to be an increasing amount of nastiness on these threads. It's kind of sad, I read them to share the Strictly bug, but the negative stuff is depressing.

Vincent isn't my favourite, but he seems like a sweet guy, who is obviously bringing the best out in his partner. Their tango was fab and they are an interesting, fun couple.

There is definitely a sense of humor failure surrounding SCD this year and far too many nasty posts.

If people don't like someone why can't they just leave them alone.

Just to clear one thing up, Vincent isn't married.

I agree with you. I think some people take the show too seriously. I think it is great that Louisa and Vincent can have a laugh, while they are training.

Hear, hear. He adds nothing to the show.

I can't agree with you. I think he's added a lot to the show in terms of entertainment and humour. I didn't understand his sense of humour at first but now I do. His choreography is head and shoulders above any of the others and he's a great dance teacher. I really like him now.

I definitely think he adds a lot to the show. His choreography is different, challenging and like nothing else on the show and I can more than support the statement he is a great teacher - he's pushed me to where I am faster than I ever dreamed I could do it.
Yes he's silly, yes there are times I cringe watching him but he's having fun and why shouldn't he. I remember Anton saying before the start of the last series that he was glad Vincent and Flavia weren't in that series as they were just too good and he wouldn't have a chance if they were there. They have a lot of respect amongst the pros and trust me Vincent is never any different to that so they know what he's like.
For me he adds to the show - and Flavia would have done too if she hadn't gone so early. But I know not everyone will like the same people as me - nothing wrong with that!

I think he's great -good sense of humour, great dancer and teacher. He & Louisa seem to get on very well and I hope they go far.

I didn't like Louisa at the beginning, then I did, then I didn't, now I do again... Kind of!!!!

It is a real shame Flavia went so early All my fave girls have gone, it's not faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaair!

I would love to see more of V&F's performances together. I really love watching them, almost as much as my beloved Cutlers and anyone who knows me, that says a LOT!

I love Vincent I think he's a sweetheart... It took me a long time to get Italian humour because it is very different, they are brought up so differently from us... Now that I have spent so long with Italians I am used to it and I can see Vincent for what he is and not what he makes himself out to be...

If that makes sense...
Cat123

That does make sense. If he was really like how he acts I wouldn't like him. But I can see it's (mostly!) an act. I think he's lovely.
