Erasure wrote some catchy pop tunes back in the day, but I really don't like the new single. The new album has some really awful songs on it. The cover of 'Come Up and See Me, make me smile' is a good example.

They should have stopped doing covers after their Abba-esque EP.

Freedom of the loveboat album was good, then the rest of the album went to pot i know they could be good again, if they went back to there original style!

Haven't listened to their music for ages. I love to hate you. What a song. No better song to listen to when your ex girlfriend is p****g you off. God damn I **)/@ *;",# had enough *£%*& and £&%* from that £$*%. I should *^%£:;@? right up her (*Censored*). Oh hell I ain't bitter.

Anyway, another great thing about the song is the video. Gosh haven't seen it for ages, it was on the chart show when the intro was a rollercoaster. Probably a decade or something like that but I remember that crazy guy on the floating synth. And a crowd of people. I wanted to be that guy.

Its something along those lines. If anyone remembers can you please jog my memory. Another good song was blue lanore or something. And ship of fools. Sometimes was overplayed. Ah and who can forget..............ah that one with a circus theme.

Anyway going back to the actual subject. I haven't heard their new stuff. The best is definately what they made themselves rather than covers I imagine. Its too bad synths ain't as popular anymore.
