last night, and I know it is premature since this series is only half over.

It was of Roger Federer gliding across the floor as sublimly as he does across a tennis court. It was by far the best dream I've had in ages.

Who would be your dream new celebs for next year?

Mr Va Va Voom- Thierry Henri!

OMG! How amazing would he be!

David Tennant

Gordon Ramsey

I can't imaging him taking any flak from the judges (though he may have to tone down his vocabulary somewhat!) and he'd have an excellent temperament for a Tango or Paso...he's also quite fit from running marathons...and has a rather pert bum that would look great in tight trousers...

.. better stop there before I get too hot and bothered!

I'm still backing Stephen Fry - even tho' he didn't materialise last year.

He'd be superb - I reckon - in the ballroom dances.

And he'd certainly know how to (man)handle the judges!

YES FelineFantastic, Mr Va Va Voom would be fantastic, with his footwork and passion for perfection.
I'd also like to see Gordon Ramsay as Polka Dot suggested - now that would defo add some sparks.
Jonny Wilkinson would also be good, nifty footwork and nice to look at.
Kirsty Gallagher would give it her all - and she's competitive!
Wonder if Nicky Sanderson would be interested?

As I've said before, Jenson Button... I'd love to see him dance, he just looks so adorable... The only problem is if the series starts this early again I doubt he'd be available...

Oh, what a fantastic dream. Federer is so graceful when he plays tennis, I'm sure he's be wonderful on the dancefloor. I think we should wait until he stops playing though, before we petition to have him on SCD?

Can't remember who posted it, but someone came up with the wonderful idea of all three Top Gear presenters taking that one step further...

The Hamster would be with Lilia - heights about right, plus cue lots of giggling and sillyness

Clarkson would be with Erin - no nonsense (and I mean that nicely) teacher with opinonated loudmouth (and I mean that nicely as well,

Captain Slow with Ola, can't you just see the expression on his face as she wiggles her bum in his face.

Failing that, Enrique Murciano can some on the show and shake his hips at me any day of the week

Funnily enough, I can imagine many men (including all of the above - what great taste you all have!) that I would love to see do the ballroom (can I add a vote for Richard Armitage of 'North and South') but very few men I'd really like to see do latin.

But I love the idea of Strictly Top Gear - yes please! All three of them dancing, exactly as Agent Krycek says - genius - and then Brendon and Anton driving cars. They have to do that.

Oh the Top Gear 3! Mind you Richard was Dad dancing on an episode of Top Gear, I wouldn't want him to disappoint!

Apparently James May has already turned it down.

Hasn't Martina retired from pro tennis this year?

And they've just killed off Sharon Maugham's character in Holtby City. Also there should be someone available from Corrie soon!

Top Gear 3 ... yes yes yes ...

Finally to keep the cricketing theme I'd love to see Tuffers on SCD

I am having palpatations at the thought of some of the suggestions here:

Gordon Ramsay: Yum- that would be fabby

The Top Gear 3: Thaty would be a series with just those 3.

David Tennant- the hamsters secret twin would also be brilliant.

Roger Federer has records to break before he could consider this but I believe he would be awesome.

Just thought of the pro's doing a circuit in a reasonably priced car- who would be the fastest? (man or woman)

If we have to have a cricketer each year then can I please suggest the adorable and stunning Graham Thorpe. The thought of him dancing already has me in a tizz!

What about Jimmy Carr? He'll be too busy as he's this live show like every night.
