I suppose I'm the only one!

I loved SCD and used to plan my Saturdays around it. I also looked forward to ITT and never missed it. This year, I don't mind if I miss either and I certainly don't record either if I'm out.
It's the judging that's got to me... It isn't the loud mouthed Goodman show or the Bruno show and yet each week they get worse and spoil what used to be a delightful show.
Claudia is either in hyperdrive eulogising about how wonderful a ‘sleb’ is and how the public adore them… OK a ‘sleb’ is popular, but don’t go on about it love; or she’s helping them and/or the guests promo books/CDs/DVDs etc.
I know, from living around the judging circuit, that top flight judges didn’t want to be involved with the show and Goodman was the best they could come up with. To be fair he did a good job at first because he couldn’t believe his luck. A run of the mill dancer and adequate judge who, by being the only one available, was asked to judge some of the top comps. And, again to be fair, he didn’t do a bad job of it. But it is time for change if this show isn’t going to slump in the ratings.
Controversial loud -mouthed petty judging is part and parcel of the X factor but the SCD target audience isn’t the X Factor and we deserve better.

Yes please can we change the judging panel for next year??

Happy to see non ballroom peeps on there for the "performance" aspect, but we really need a proper balance of judges on there ie 2 of each type.

Don't mind if Len stays (if he gets rid of his predjudices - eg Claire and Brendan's inability to get anything right for him - no matter how good a performance they turn in!) ) - he took the gamble when no other judges would, but we do need another technique expert these days as the standard of the celebs dancing is higher.

And totally agree - don't bother with celeb guests on ITT unless they are true fans with something to say about SCD - the BBC is NOT QVC!
