And you think this unusual? After all, The Chart Show never used the "proper" chart during the original run.

No. I was referring to when they made their own chart. I'm just pointing out how they have still not decided to use the official CIN chart.

They're starting to DOG the repeats now which isn't very good. Might mean they may start DOGing the repeats on the Vault too... if they ever get round to scheduling it...

If they've only DOGged one repeat, it might be a mistake. It's the wonders of automation- you can think you've programmed it right, but it still goes wrong. I remember the DOG popping up a couple of times on The Vault's repeats last year, almost certainly unintentionally.

They've DOGged the past 3 or so repeats now.

Just thought I'd dig this back up as today's August 22nd- exactly 10 years to the day since the final Chart Show edition.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the last episode of the Chart Show. Hmmmm maybe celebrate the anniversary with a Pepe Jean, a Twix chocolate and the dreadful Tizer drink (Believe me, it tastes awful) !!!!!!!!

No new episode so far. It's meant to be updated on Wednesday but sometimes Thursday, but not this week.

Once again, proven wrong the day after. Nice to see a good ol' Chart Show error on the Album Chart going from 5, to "1" to 3...

I was playing that on my phone on the way to work today. Fantastic track but never got anywhere.

I think the thoughtlessness of the production of the revival is starting to become a bit ridiculous, with No. 3 on the Airplay Chart being "Lid Rock".

I'm starting to worry, however, that The Vault aren't bothering to bring the repeats back. It's been a while since VickiVault said they plan to show them again.

Well Jay, it could have been worse !!! At least they didn't call it "The Fart Show", instead of "The Chart Show" !!!

Once I realised that, I had upload the video again, but this time remove the "offending" number 1 song. Its amazing how threatning a cartoon bunny is to a record company !!!”

There must have been a problem with Jive Bunny on the Top 40 of 1989 on 4Music yesterday as they only played 1 of the 3 videos they had in the chart. They used an excuse about the other 2 being so bad you wouldn't want to hear more than 30 seconds of them.

Yeah, I wondered about that too.

Mastermix are hardly Sony BMG, are they ????

I can understand major record labels getting shirty about Michael Jackson and Mariah, but fricking Jive Bunny ........

I've no idea why Music Factory Entertainment Group refuses to have Jive Bunny music videos on youtube. Although at the moment there is 3 or 4 Jive Bunny music videos on youtube. However they probably be removed by Music Factory Entertainment Group. It took them a month to remove my video from youtube.

Makes me wonder how unorganized CSC really are if it takes them almost a fortnight to make a new episode. I'm aware of the self-constructed chart, but they didn't even have Cliff in the Singles Charts... everybody knows he was in the charts this week!

Haven't seen The Ofiicial Top 40 or Hit40UK on TV this week but maybe there isn't a Cliff video. On these charts they mention this but I've noticed on Chart Show TV they just miss them out as there are no voiceovers (unlike The Old Chart Show when they used to play the song with a picture or film for a few seconds). I noticed the other week though Eric Prydz was No1 on the Dance Chart but missing from The Top Ten.

They put the Singles Chart in Part 1???

Not for this reason alone, obviously, but I'm growing tired of the new version, and I'm sick to death of "When I Grow Up" which is constantly played in full, and I'm sure one of the New Releases has been on airplay for months. I don't think I'll be watching anymore new episodes, and will keep my fingers crossed that The Vault remembers it said the classic repeats would come back.

I noticed the other days didn't play Mcfly which was New at 2 yet played older songs and it also plays the same videos in the specialist chart when it could play different ones to those shown in previous weeks.

Well VickiVault from the Vault Forums is apparently "no longer with the company". I emailed her to ask if Classic Chart Show is still coming back as promised and I was given a new email address for a representative of the Vault, somebody called Sarah, so I've emailed her instead.

Now we play the waiting game. Fingers crossed, people!

That might explain why the website hasn't been updated for several weeks.

The best place to advertise for chart show videos is a site called want it now, which is part of ebay. The website is :

By the looks of the forums, I think this'll be what we all have to do to catch a glimpse of any episodes.

...except you jammy buggers who have a load of them on tape.
