Looks like Razdan's second account has also been suspended. Not looking good, really...

Don't worry Jay I'm back. My YouTube account is now called dee1974raz. However I've put all my chart show charts on my MySpace website. However there is a link to my MySpace website from my dee1974raz account on YouTube

I managed to watch the new chart show on friday lunchtime what a mess:

New releases have a play option..why? the fast forward doesn't work it doesn't gel into next video the airplay chart was virtually the same as the singles chart no indication of whether the songs were going up, down or non-movers.

The whole show didn't feel separate to the rest of chart show tv it just felt wrong no number one icon and no info boxes basically the just copied the smash hits channels instead of developing their own style very very disappointing.

I understand that they are now on their own and do not have the financial investment Yorkshire TV and the itv network put in in the 1990's and the graphics would have to be made for less but the whole show and the channel looked cheap, cheap, cheap.

The fact that people are paying attention to the new one still is surprising.

No surprises there !!!!

They should bring back the "real" chart show that was shown on Channel 4 between 1986 and 1988 and then on ITV between 1989 and 1998 !!!!

I noticed when i saw the Sky programme guide for the chart show the channel is described as pop, dance and r&b so that would explain why it has moved away from indie and rock

Hi there, never really been on this thread properly before, but it seems that the conversation has swerved to todays charts compared to the first few pages I read talking about bringing back old archival shows.

Has the classic chart show gone now on Chart Show TV or is this a thread now for todays charts?

Thanks

It is whatever anyone wants to comment about the chart show. It's been going for 23 years so there's plenty to discuss new and old
