I was noticing the training footage and it appears Karen and definately Erin wear male dance shoes during training.

Lilia seems to wear the strappy female ones.

Most of the female celebs wear the female ones but I guess that is to get used to them I suppose.

Or have I got it all wrong

Ohhh Yeah

They're not male dance shoes, but practice ballroom/latin shoes. They're alot easier on the feet and provide more support than your standard latin shoe. But if you already knew that and just meant male shoes to differentiate, I do apologise!

Ok sorry to show my ignorance it just I thought that Erins looked very similar to the ones she presented to Peter S. thats all

They are very similar, sometimes the only difference really is in the heel height. No need to apologise!

I have also seen Erin wearing jazz trainers in training (from memory she wore those during the Argentine tango training in series 3). They look like trainers but with split soles. Much more comportable than heels!

Definitely! She wore those in the samba training too!
